This is meant to be stationary on hard ground.I have it mounted in my truck.The black versions always failed after 12-18 months.I think this one has been there about 2 years with the same load in it.

CRAFTSMAN IS JUST A NAME NOW
I have the same style box made in the 1980s and it is much heavier and better built. This new box has drawers which are hard to open and I don't know why they added the hydraulic rams to the lid. The name is the same but the quality is not.

Great Tool Chest
I am very happy with this tool chest. Not planning on moving it so will be disconnecting the drawer lock. Made so the drawers will not opened until the lid is opened. This would be useful if you are planning on carrying it around in you vehicle. Drawers open very easily. Great value for the $
