my cat absolutely love these! he is very picking and gets bored with food quickly, but he almost never gets bored with this. it's also convenient since it's in pate (not having to cut it up first), and the snap packs make them super easy and the proportions being set already makes unsealing it and plopping it onto your cat's plate super easy. he loves this so much that he will try jumping on me trying to eat it before i am even able to put it on his plate. A+++

My one fussy kitten love, loves this pate. It must have good taste and quality ingredients because she scarfs it down. Good size for one portion and the box has good durability.

My cats love all the flavors we’ve tried from the Sheba Pate Perfect Portions but this Signature Seafood is the favorite of our extremely picky eater — our 18 year old senior cat with hyperthyroidism. She likes wet food without chunks — pate style but it must have a LOT of gravy or broth. This Signature Seafood flavor seems to have the most liquid/broth in it and it’s her favorite. We tried several of the Sheba flavors with her but this is what she consistently ate. We also like that it comes in two smaller portions. This keeps the food fresher for my finicky eater. She rarely eats all of what we put out and once it’s been open and doesn’t smell right she definitely won’t eat it. That’s why the portion sizes of this Sheba have been so fantastic! It keeps it fresh for her and the portion sizes are just right. Since she was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, it’s been a chore to find foods our senior cat will eat. She’s hungry but is hard to please. This is one of only 3 foods we can get our 18 year old cat to eat with regularity and we have to rotate those out. Of those, this has been consistently her favorite. She became so finicky a few years ago, and refused to eat nearly everything we tried. We spent hundreds of dollars trying out foods and she got down to 6 pounds. We tried this out of desperation when she suddenly stopped eating the previous food we found that she would eat. Usually she has to be coaxed to eat but once we discovered this she will eat the whole portion and she will ask for more food during the day -which is a miracle for her — instead of us pushing it on her throughout the day. The only con is that when you peel off the top, the liquid drips a bit but that’s a very small drawback for the convenience and practicality of the packaging.

This is the only soft cat food my cat enjoys. Worth every single penny.

This is an Update which I'll date this time: 12/03/2024: The Sheba arrived well except the box itself was opened because the shipping tape used by Amazon was not square on the flaps but instead off to the side. It had two sets of dog treats in it as well, but at least everything was intact. It would have been nice to even see some paper wrap in there. But... all's well that ends well, and this is favorite food! So we'll keep buying it, and Amazon is the easiest place to get it. Otherwise, a trip to the local big box store/s doesn't always have it after we make the almost 1.5 hour round-trip drive to buy it. So... Amazon it is. *********************** We received our SHEBA Perfect Portions Paté Wet Cat Food Trays (24 Count, 48 Servings), Tender Whitefish and Tuna nestled in separate box in their plastic trays. I was concerned about how they might arrive with them being a soft, wet food with only a foil-type cover. However, they arrived intact with no punctures or spills. All good on that. I might have asked for separate packaging. I don't remember. If you get the option to have the items put inside Amazon packaging, I would recommend choosing that. At this point there is no additional charge for it in order to give your products a little more packing. In truth, they should be packing things like this extra-well in the first place because... who wants cat food pate broth all over their other purchases? I wouldn't. But this shipment of pate arrived in good order. The date was well into the future (about a year), so that was also good. We are currently working on finishing our last week of the packets we have, so we did not open these immediately. If anything notable happens regarding the food quality once we open this batch, I'll update the review. As far as the pate itself goes, my cat loves this brand and flavor. He won't eat other brands or flavors, so we stock up on this when I go to the store. I needed to restock and the store was out, so this was the only option. I am grateful that this arrived in a timely manner as guaranteed. I would give this 5 stars if we'd already opened and tested the actual pate and found it 5-star worthy. Although my cat loves it, I'd have to say he loves it for the first few minutes of eating it. He'll come running and "crying" for it like he hasn't been fed in a week (he's well-fed), but within minutes, he'll turn his head to it. It doesn't take long for this to get hard and gray looking. He usually eats from the middle, so I have learned if I flip the little shape upside down, he thinks it's fresh and will eat a little through that "new" pate, too. It would be nicer if it held a fresher smell and color a little longer than just a few minutes, literally. So for that - I'll give this 4 stars.

Our cat has eaten this catfood for 2-3 years. This 24-twin pack of Salmon I received in Sep, was opened about a week ago for use. Salmon pate was our cat's favorite. But she refused to eat the first pack from this order. We have tried several from both racks in the order, but she refuses them. She still eats the whitefish and seafood packs, will not eat the Salmon. It smells OK, but obviously something is wrong. Gave one to a neighbor, but her cat refused it also. I think this Salmon order should be replaced with another 24-pack order. I still have the last order minus the 6 meal packs we have tried to feed her. Number on order carton is 10285014.
