If You A'ren't Sure, Ask The Good People at Oregon If It Will Fit Your Application
This chain fit my McCullough Electric chain saw. I got a chain at Home Depot with the help of the garden dept. salesperson. It didn't fit. I had my old chain with me, he opened one in the store looked at both of them, and said it would work, wrong! I got a refresher course on chains from the Oregon people. The number that follows the letter describes how many links your chain has. I didn't ask what the letter means. Lesson leaned, at any rate this one fit and I have used it, so that makes it a winner.

Better Than Sharpening The Old One
The chain is exactly what I needed to take down that overgrown wisteria vine. The trunk was too big for my loppers and in a position making hand sawing difficult. I had loaned my light duty McCulloch to a neighbor and he must have been slicing cinder blocks with it, because he returned it to me nearly toothless.Once I realized that the McCulloch owners manual omitted a couple of steps and that the saw housing would have to be removed to swap out the chain, the process was simple and the wisteria was down in about 15 minutes. I can’t vouch for the durability of the chain as I was done in 4 or 5 cuts, not enough usage to know, but it sure seems like a quality product. It was what I needed at a reasonable price that makes a new Oregon preferable to chain sharpening, particularly if you don’t use it often.

I try to sharpen… but replacing is so much easier.
I use an Oregon S50 for my Remington electric and the D70 for my old McCulloch 610 Pro gas saw and no complaints with either. It’s pretty hard for me to mess up a blade when felling a tree but once it’s down and being cut into logs I can do a number on it. The most frequent damage to sharpness comes when the tip hits the ground because I haven’t lifted what I’m cutting up high enough not to do so. Unbelievable how little it takes to dull the cutters after doing so only a few times so I always have a few spares on hand to swap the blade out quickly and sharpen it at some later date. I have a few wood stoves so cutting down dead trees on our few acres is worth the few bucks this chains cost. I do have some pretty large carcasses to cut and they’re larger than the length of my chainsaws so it takes a lot of cutting around it before I have a log to split. This comes nice and oily and ready to go in about the 5-minutes it takes to pull of the old and put on the new and much better than stopping everything to sharpen one. I try to cut the stump even with the ground and that’s another major dull practice that I try never to do with a recently new chain so having a sharpened old one for what’s pretty much a single use is nice to have handy since I’ve even cut through bard wire that’s been embedded in a stump.

Great replacement chain for a Remington 14" Limb & Trim
Installed easily, perfect replacement for the original chain. It has excellent bite and digs into the wood without requiring a lot of pressure on the saw (as it should be). I needed to fell and chop up a fairly large plum tree (about 12" diameter at the base), and with this chain my lowly electric Remington was able to get the job done safely and easily.I was still using the original chain that came with the saw many years ago, so it's difficult to say whether it's any better than the original when new. But if you need a replacement, this chain is an excellent choice and solid value.

Fit My Remington RM1415A Pefectly
They don't list my model as a replacement chain, but it works great. I replaced a 16 tooth chain for this 50 tooth chain. The 16 tooth chain jerked quite a bit because of the lack of teeth to grab the wood. More teeth makes for a smoother sawing experience. I have an 18" gas powered chain saw, but for light jobs, I prefer to use this, because you can put the saw down and remove limbs without the hassle of restarting a noisy 2 cycle saw.

Won’t fit McCullough 450S-16
I have a McCullough Electramac ES450S-16. After reading the Amazon product description for this product, which specifically list my saw, I ordered one despite being bothered by a 14” chain being sold for a 16” chainsaw. I figured there was just something that I didn’t understand. Nope, apparently it’s someone else who doesn’t understand that a 14” steel chain won’t stretch to fits 16” bar. Oh, well, live and learn. Since I am a member of the “at-risk” (for Coronavirus), I won’t bother returning it since we’re only talking about $11.53 and I don’t feel like taking it to the UPS store.

USELESS
Warning, Oregon S50 does NOT fit a Stihl 14" tree saw. The Oilomatic bar on a Stihl is too thin for this blade. That is why they discontinued it. I have to throw it out.

Amazing - went through seasoned hardwood like a hot knife into soft butter
Much better than the chain that came with my new Remington RM1425 Limb N Trim 14" electric chainsaw. Amazing - went through seasoned hardwood like a hot knife into soft butter. Highly recommended to get the most out of your chainsaw!

Strange advertising.
Description says it fits a Homelite. package doesn't say Homelite and, that's right, it doesn't fit my saw.. Description says it's 18". It's 14".
