Breakaway Reflective Nylon Cat Collars with Bell (4 Colors)

Great quality. Well made. WARNINGOur cat was from a catch and release program meaning they would catch the cat fix them, snip the ear and release them back where they found them. This was a rescue from a barn and there was approx 100 cats. They took care of them and then realized nearly all of these cats were not truly ferrel, so they found homes for them. We have two and have had them for over a year. They were garage cats meaning they lived in the garage and could go in and out at will. One day one of them just didn't look right. We immediately took her to the vet, where she was diagnosed with ear infections. We moved her inside thinking we would treat her and let her back out. Unfortunately normal treatment did not work and tried all of them before she was cultured and then slow recovery. Worse it messed up her balance due to scarring.Here is where the collar comes in. We decided she needed one in case she slipped out, we don't want someone seeing her clipped ear and trying to move her. That and coyotes. First time I put the collar on she immediately tried to get it off and managed to get it caught on her bottom teeth/jaw. I realized it was not tight enough and tightened it. Next day she did the same thing, fixed it again and thought all was well. Few hours later I heard a gargling sound, found her immediately. She had spit up a lot of saliva. This time was the worse. She managed to separate the layers and pull the top layer, choking herself. For some reason the clip did not break away for her. I went over and snapped it quite easily. What I did was measure it on her neck then sew a line up the middle of the collar. We cannot adjust it now however it breaks away easily and we have had no further issues. I don't know if it would be a problem for a cat that always wears a collar or if it didn't have the bell(that seems to be what she doesn't like) we will take it off when her tag comes in, we wanted her to get used to something dangling.I really like the quality, just be careful until you have made sure you do not have the same issues we had. It does not have a bar that you could adjust to keep the cat from separating the two thicknesses

I have several cats and I have been going to a department store buying break away collars for them. Just let me point out that I was paying over $7 each for them. These just came in and I was so impressed, the quality is even better than what I had been buying. GREAT PRODUCT! UNBEATABLE PRICE! I will for sure be back for more.Note: Break away collars are so important for cats. I have had 2 cats nearly die in the past from not wearing break aways. Please, please reconsider before putting regular collars on your fur-babies (no matter where you purchase them).

Worthless to me. My cat can remove it at will. There is no locking mechanism so all you need to do to remove it is to pull on it. My cat has absolutely no problem taking it off, which defeats the whole purpose of having a collar.

These are really nice collars. Just push the two ends together to snap close. It takes a good pull to release them. I like that factor. They can get loose from something that entangles them. Yet if you find collars that release too easily you will find them losing the collars easily. These are very attractive and functional. I plan on ordering some for our next fundraiser. I also love the fact they glow in the dark...for those who let their cats run outside. Good safety feature. So very reasonable for such quality collars.

They are pretty good quality. I bought 6 used 4 so far. One just wouldn't stay tight on my cats neck. My one cat is a 1 year old kitten and very hyper. I had to put a small rubber band around the collar to keep it from sliding to a bigger size on his neck, problem solved. The other ones I used stay fine on my cats no slipping. I have one on my 4 year old boy cat who is also hyper and the reflective strip is trying to peel up on one end. Nothing a dab of glue won't fix. It could be coming lose from my two boy cats playing to rough. With my two girls collars there are no issues at all. Over all they seem to be good quality and have held up the past few months. The bells stay on, color looks good. They haven't frayed from the cats wrestling around. I'd recommend them especially if you have several cats to get collars for. They are definitely worth what I paid for them and have lasted longer than some others I've bought.

My cat (pictured) has been wearing this collar for a few weeks and it's holding up great so far.I have it pretty loose, but it hasn't come off. She's an older indoor kitty, so she mostly snoozes all the time, but we were also fostering a 2 yr old indoor unaltered male cat when I got these, and his stayed put until we got him placed, also.They haven't frayed too much with scratching.I like that you can easily remove the bell if you want to. They're very light & comfortable and easy to adjust.The colors are bright & cheerful, and come with a very effective reflective strip.I got these after kitty got out & we couldn't find her for 3 days this winter. A neighbor had seen her, but didn't bring her in because no collar.These are also breakaway collars which are a very important safety feature for our beloved felines.The price is excellent and I have backup collars if she loses hers.They also arrived within a week.

If I could give these collars 10 stars I would. Very well made, beautiful 2 tone colors, nice bell to match collar color, comfortable, snap the cat head shaped connector together to close, pull apart to open. To get 6 for $4.99 or $5.99 is an incredible deal! Nowhere will you find such nice collars for less than $1.00/each. Nowhere.

I wasn't expecting to receive very good quality and cheap price like this.I am advising everyone to buy it, your cat gonna be happy with it.

My cat always loses his collars, 8 for the price of 1 is a great deal. Collars are good quality and stand out with reflective strip. Highly recommend.

Would not recommend as the saying goes, get what you pay for. Bells fell off over night and a high risk of choking for your cat also it shreaded with in a week of wearing and required replacing costing more in the long run.
