The book is amazing. Got the hardcover for my coffee table but its looks so perfect i need another one just to display.

I am absolutely in LOVE with this book. Stunning photographs, sketches, painti gs, and beautifully written. It's a love letter. Rest in power King. You are deeply loved and dearly missed.

This book is so amazing totally worth the price and then some I would give it six stars if I could it is filled with colorful reproductions of the artwork and had a first time for me clever inside jacket that works well as a page marker I intend to purchase more for gifts to my artist friends bravo to all who worked on this prize it’s an honor to the brilliant young artist gone to soon

This book is exceptionally nice. I love the information and pictures.

I bought this book as a gift for a friend of mine who is a Basquiat fan. He absolutely loved it. The book was a nice size and quality to give us a gift. I would definitely recommend it.

I understand why 40 editions were released - they keep finding new Basquiat paintings. The famous "Versus Medici" painting that sold for $50.8 million dollars was released from a private collection in May 2021. You won't find it in this 40th edition released in 2020. There are other famous Basquiat paintings that need its own page, including his "Flexible" painting that sold for $45.3 million in May 2018. It is shown indirectly in this book and no color. Several great paintings are shown across 2 pages including the famous "Devil" which sold for $57.3 million dollars in May 2016. But the "devil" in the picture is smack dab in the middle of the 2 pages and in the crease. Overall, a great number of his most famous paintings are included in color and on their own page. Hopefully they will update this book and find ways to improve it. In the meantime, this is a great way to give your mind a break and think about something other than your daily routine for a while. Maybe someday read the text.
