Rolling pin is smooth and easy to use. I bought the 15.75” and was worried I should have bought the larger one. However, this works well and covers the area I need well enough. I like the mat, easy to clean and makes rolling to a measurement easy.

Love this rolling pin. I didn't actually expect it to make me better at rolling things out but it really did. Prior to this I had a heavier, thicker rolling pin with handles. This one makes it so much easier to roll out my sourdough crackers really thin. It's also really pretty and nice quality.

After trying several rolling pins for my sourdough breads, I found this one and I really think it was the best choice. It feels very solid, works great, the size is perfect, and the build quality really stands out — completely polished, high-quality wood!

For pizza making this is the best! I'm sure it would be great for baking too! It's got a nice sturdy weight to it and it's very easy to manulipate the pizza dough. I was using a regular dough roller with handles and this roller sure makes that old thing a thing of the past now. I love it.

This was a pretty good buy for making my pie crusts. The mat is a little sticky. The rolling pin is easy to use and maneuver. The measurements on the mat is helpful for rolling out dough.

It looks like a work of art, the warm, beautifully colored wood is hard and non-absorbant, but with a silky feel. Even sticky pizza dough wasn't a problem with a light dusting of flour on my pin and silcone surface. First time I didn't want to throw my calzone dough across the room on NY's Eve! Washed up easily and I it dried right away after using to keep this beauty looking brand new. The price was reasonable for such a well made and easy to use kitchen staple. This one is going to last for years!

This beautiful rolling pin is perfect for rolling out anything but especially fondant icing, it’s got a special coating to prevent sticking which is essential when using fondant icing. I do a lot of baking and pastry making and will use this pin for all pastry dishes, it’s light and long enough to use with larger pieces of pastry etc. I’m very pleased with it and wish I’d got one sooner. Highly recommend to all bakers and cake decorators.
