Great little one handed fire starter, it is very compact, strikes sparks easily, and holds 8 tinder quicks. These are small enough that you can put them anywhere, in a knife sheath, molle vest, car door pocket, bug out bag, camping gear, anywhere you need an emergency fire starter. I was surprised at how well the striker works and the shower of sparks it throws. My only con is I wish they would make a slightly larger handle so that it would be easier to use. Possible a selection of sizes of these kits wouldn't hurt. However for an emergency fire starter this kit is still outstanding.

Have 2 of these in our camping bags now. Really love the tinder quicks! Only complaint is the wheel of the spark-lite can be hard to turn, but maybe it loosens up after a while? Otherwise easy to use, very compact & lightweight. Great for emergency kits or camping gear.

Simple fast and reliable fire starter with good burn time. If you don’t want to invest the time to learn flint and steel or the use of a ferro rod, this is the fire starter for you. So inexpensive you need one in every car, your backpack, or any emergency kit you may have laying around. Cheap enough to hand out like candy to all the people on your Christmas list.

This is a great fire kit for carrying in a pocket. I have a larger fire kit on my gear and in my pack, but this is fits the bill for pocket carry. Highly recommended!
