Good Customer Service
We ordered 8 of these glasses - they work well. One broke while stirring a beverage after a month of use. However, when we made Sunstea aware of it they sent a replacement.

Just what I wanted
I have been looking and reading reviews for these type of glasses for a while. I was tired of how quickly condensation built up on the outside of regular glasses filled with icy drinks and tired of water rings on tables when coasters were ignored. I had seen glasses made by other companies in stores and felt they might be too fragile, so decided to see if I could find sturdier ones online. I read reviews here on Amazon and decided to give these a shot as it sounded like they were what I was looking for. I ordered a set to try them out. They indeed are much sturdier than what I have seen. As others said in their reviews, the rim is thicker and it bothered some, but I figure it's not any thicker than most coffee mugs so it doesn't bother me. I would rather they be thicker and stronger because these type of glasses are not cheap. So if it helps it last longer than I can live with it. Time will tell as I only have had them for a couple of weeks. But I do love that they don't condensate and ice lasts much longer. I haven't tried hot liquids in them so don't know how long heat lasts. I have put them in the dishwasher with no problems and even am able to fill them with ice straight from my refrigerator door. Some glass makers tell you not to do this as it can crack inner liner. This company doesn't have that warning in fact on the box they came in it said, "passed free-fall ice ball impact test from 16 inches." They are dishwasher and microwave safe. I decided to order more and this company gave a 10-15% discount coupon depending on order size if you order straight from them, which I did. However it took a couple of weeks to deliver where Amazon took 2 days. If you need them quickly I suggest ordering from Amazon. These glasses do come with a 6 month warranty which is good as 3 glasses in the ones I ordered from the company had a small crack on the outside bottom layer upon inspection when I opened them. I notified the company through their online warranty claim page and notified me the next day that they are sending replacements. I have to say I love these glasses and with customer service like that, I have no fear in ordering more if I need to.Update: July 29th, 2014Just to let you know I am still waiting for the replacement glasses that I was promised they were sending. The company keeps telling me they are out of stock. If you want these glasses I would definitely order through Amazon as I think Amazon has better customer service.

These DO NOT hold 16 oz!!!! They will NOT hold an entire 16oz can of soda.
****Update July 26, 2012)**** I am STILL annoyed that they do not hold 16oz but I have been using them since Dec and they have provided excellent service and seem quite durable with a minor amount of care. I DID break one through foolishness-- I set my dirty dishes down next to the sink for a pre-wash rinse with one glass on the counter and a pot with a fork on top behind it. I rinsed the first dish and when reaching for the second, I bumped the pot which caused the fork to slide off and plunge into the glass points down-- no explosion like others experienced but there was a small diameter hole punched through the inner bottom. I hated to lose the glass and I was suitably embarrassed at my carelessness but the episode reinforced my opinion that these glasses are wonderfully adequate for normal service. Is there any chance we can get the chinese to believe that Americans don't like false or deceptive advertising and really HATE shoddy merchandise?CONS- These glasses exhibit the rather typical Chinese consumer goods symptom of leaving you shaking your head with incredulity over their claims. THEY HOLD 14OZ WHEN FILLED TO THE RIM!! Almost exactly 14oz as measured with my kitchen measuring cup. How does anyone design a container and not be sure as to its volume? I understand that the manufacture process is not precise but missing a stated statistic by 13% (14/16 = 87%) is unreasonable. I strongly suspect that engineers were not involved in the design process and were probably absent from the manufacturing end also. The reason that I nicked one star for this is that the glasses were selected to serve as the cup for the daily morning double 7oz (14oz total) brew from my Keurig. As it is, the glass does hold the double brew EXACTLY with the coffee being almost level with the rim-- just a little more and the brew would run over. I have to pour some out to put in my spoonful of canned milk and stir-- waste and another step that would not occur if they did indeed hold that extra 2oz claimed. Almost a deal breaker but functional.PROS- That having been said, the glasses are sturdy and effective coffee mugs (thus, the remaining 4 stars). They are not ugly by any means but elegance is not a word that springs to mind when describing them-- they suit me fine but expect a heavier, more utilitarian design than the fragile looking Bodum models. The gravy on the plate here is the cheaper price and reduced fragility over Bodum. These are stout and apparently durable in normal circumstances. I am a large lumbering man who has slowly been losing coordination as I plunge into the end stages of life but in the two months I have owned these or the several years even that I used Bodum, I have never broken a glass-- hand wash only. I daily use a long handled ice tea spoon to stir up the milk I add to the coffee and I take the precaution to stir with an easy circular hand motion that allows the spoon to stay in contact with the inner surface of the glass constantly, not clanking away as is normal with a ceramic mug. I have not dropped one yet but lets face it, ANY glass container will break if it falls and hits a hard surface at the right orientation. I expect them to last for years-- and my smaller Bodum glasses seem durable enough to serve for smaller portions for a long time as well.CONCLUSION-- A good deal. Well worth the price if the stated volume is not important. As I mentioned in the title, they will not hold a full 16oz can/bottle of soda.
