Ancient Graffiti Replacement Rain Gauge Tube

Measurements are WRONG.The measurements state 1.25W x 1D x 5.75H in. THIS IS WRONG. The lip on the top barely measures 1-1/8" and it falls through of the 1-1/4" opening of my gauge.

I had a plastic one before that froze and cracked over winter. I wanted a glass replacement and ordered this one. When it arrived, some of the dark black ink letters had scrapped off, I guess in transit. But the biggest problem was the lip on the test tube is extremely narrow and won't stay in any of my rain gauge metal hoolers. It needs more durable lettering and a MUCH wider rim on top so it can rest on the rain gauge frame. I was hoping this would have work so much. But it didn't.

I loved it at first, but the glass tube broke shortly after using.Bought these replacements and have now had the glass tube break twice due to ice/cold temps.Good only for above freezing.Have one more replacement tube and then will have to find another type of guage.

This was a replacement. Had to buy a little ring for the top cause even with the lip I just missed fitting in my holderI found it difficult to see the level unless I was right on top of it. My old one had a strip of white paint to hi lite numbers. I found that using a piece of white fabric tape and putting it the opposite side of the tube as the numbers I can see the water level from my porch door. Saves getting wet to go out and read it

This fits perfectly in my vintage pink flamingo rain gauge that had a cracked plastic tube. I looked on Amazon as a last resort before throwing it out, and I'm so glad I did!

For me, the trick to replacing a broken rain gauge tube was finding the right size. "Ancient Graffiti" is about the only brand name I found in the category and a search of their product line revealed that they had the product I was looking for. It's a big larger (1 inch diameter vs. 3/4") than most. Came quickly. Fits great.

It is exactly what I was looking for. While the lip is a tad narrower than the previous tube, it still is a very good fit and won't fall through.

This is just what I needed to replace one that broke on a new rain gauge holder. Great packaging. Thank you for taking the time to ensure it was protected. I know of a few stores that need to follow your lead.

I ordered 2 And received one broken and one intact. It is smaller than I thought and is not very accurate. The maker forgot to adjust for the rounded bottom of the tube. This makes the measure off by almost a third of an inch. Beware when buying tube shaped measures they need a flat bottom a curved bottom reduces the volume of the first inch. Check your tubes accuracy by filling it to 3 inches. Poor 1 inch of water into another container. Empty your tube and poor the water from the container with 1 inch of water back into your tube (don't spill any). This amount is where the first inch mark should be.I am remarking my tube with professional quality paint for use on glass. I will look for flat bottom tubes in the future or maybe I will buy unmarked glass and mark them myself.

Rain gauge tube fits well & is easy to read.

Fits perfectly as a replacement to the tube I broke, however there's a minor defect in the bottom. It's just weird-shaped, I assume to a glass bubble or something. Probably off a little in the measurement of rain (looks bigger than it should be at the base), but it's not horrible.

After buying two other Rain Gauge glass tubes, that did not work, I found this product. It is the perfect replacement glassware for theEvergreen Enterprises EG491596 Rain Gauge with Garden Stake sold on Amazon. Fits in the glass holder because it has the small lip at the top that holds it in place. Large numbers for easy reading of the rainfall.
