Fruitcake is one of the most maligned deserts out there. How many people say “Oh look, it’s another fruit cake from Aunt Edna.” I guess I’m different as I’d love good old Auntie to send me a fruitcake, BUT, no sugar for me! I’m one of the many people who can’t eat sugary treats. It’s like giving a vampire garlic! No, no, no! I searched and found this product. So allow me to give you the pros and cons: Pro: Decent taste Sugar free Cons: Much smaller than what you’d expect. About the size of a Hershey Bar Doesn’t impart the great taste of sugary fruit in the cake. (Yes, it is sugar free after all) Expensive for what you are purchasing Does not have that real fruitcake taste So there you have it. The good and the bad. I suppose if you have a real craving for sugar free fruitcake, this will be somewhat of a substitute, however read my pros and cons again.

Absolutely fantastic fruitcake! Hard to believe there is no sugar. Just the way I like it— no spices and lots of cherries and pineapple.

I am so disappointed! I thought it would be a more traditional taste & texture, with traditional spices. It's so bland. I only wish I could get my money back or a credit on my account! There's no reason it should taste any different than any other cake with the new sugar substitute's out there. I always bake sugar free. DON'T BOTHER WITH THIS CAKE. You'll be disappointed!

I’m not crazy about fruit cake. This cake is delicious. Plenty of fruit. It’s not overly sweet. I will buy this cake again.
