10/10. We moved to a new apartment and it is apparently a little too dry, my sweet Ivy had dandruff appear out of nowhere and I could tell she was a little more itchy than usual. We’ve been giving her this oil for a little over 3 weeks and it is already SO much better. Her coat is incredibly shiny and soft, she has stopped licking herself as much and she actually eats her food with the oil in it, she used to refuse other brands of omega 3 oil. I’ve been keeping the bottle in the fridge as suggested by someone else in the reviews and I love that it comes with its own dropper. Instructions are clear and the product really actually works. If you and your cat are struggling just like us, I recommend this product.

another update: i had subscribed and was ready to reorder but the stopper this comes with is pretty terrible. i wish this came with the type of stopper that was part of the bottle cap. every time after i use it, there’s no where convenient to store it and if you put it back in the box then the box becomes a greasy mess. unfortunately i am going to have to switch brands to something that is more convenient and cleaner. there are a lot of good options out there so i dont think it will be a problem to replace. otherwise i would continue my subscription! update: after a couple more weeks the shedding has returned but it’s not as bad as before. it doesnt make it completely go away but it is definitely an improvement. my 2 cats have no problem with their food topped with this and it’s also good for them! i will continue to get this. it’s been a while now giving this to 2 kitties and there is still half a bottle. highly recommend this to any cat pawrent ———————————————————————- can’t believe it -something that was recommended by my vet that actually works. ive had my cat for over a year now and i have had to sweep every single day (sometimes 2-3 times a day) ever since bc of her shedding. she’s just a short haired brown tabby but she just sheds and sheds. even with brushing. it’s been less than two weeks of giving 0.50-.0.75ml once a day and the shedding has practically stopped. i looked around my living room yesterday and there are no tumble weed-like balls of fur rolling around. i havent had to sweep in days. i am still in disbelief. im going to continue to give this to her and i highly recommend to anyone else who has crazy shedding in their home!

This fish oil has been a game changer for our cat. She has had immense problems with allergies, FIV, and overgrooming to the point we had to use collars, body suits, massive doses of allergy medication, and steroids. We have always looked for ways to bring relief without heavy medication, and this fish oil has been the fabulous finishing piece of care. It clearly made such a difference we were able to gradually wean her off steroids. Having used it for about 8 months, fuzz has grown back everywhere she had balded herself--tummy, arms and legs (we thought that fur was permanently gone). Her overgrooming has calmed to a regular amount. Most importantly, she and we are happy and healthy.

We have a cat that is on medication that can be crushed and administered in her food. Everything was going fine for quite a while and then suddenly, she started to notice it and began to refuse to eat her soft food. If we didn't put anything in it, she'd eat it. The minute I added her meds, she turned her nose up. I tried what I thought was everything yet nothing worked. I was ready to pull my hair out. My daughter mentioned that she ran into that issue once and used fish oil. I decided to give it a shot. It arrived quickly and was packaged well. The dropper leaves something to be desired, but it still works and I am able to clean it just fine. I prepared her food, crushed and stirred in her meds and then added the amount recommended but slowly doing drips all the way around the food trying to get it everywhere. I set it in front of her and watched her sniff it a few times. She took a lick, then another one. That was that. She ate it all! Best part, it's been over a month and she's still eating it all! She hasn't had any digestive issues from it and it has helped with her coat, which does tend to look a little less shiny due to her condition. I couldn't be happier! I will definitely be ordering this again.

The oil is good quality, but I knocked off 2 stars for the senseless packaging. This stuff is VERY stinky, and to have it in a screw-cap bottle with a separate cheap PLASTIC dropper is a terrible choice. The cap is prone to leaks and drips, so I've nearly dropped and shattered a slippery bottle more than once. You literally have to give the plastic dropper a hot, soapy bath after each use unless you want to smell fish oil all the time wherever you store it. I was putting it in a sealed plastic bag in a drawer to keep the stench at bay, but finally caved and bought glass medicine bottles with dropper caps and transferred this oil into one of those. Nordic Naturals needs to rethink this bottle - it should come with a screw-in glass dropper top. That said, my cats' skin is no longer dry and itchy, and their coats are now super soft.

Nordic Naturals Cat Omega-3 ein wirklich hervorragendes Öl – riecht frisch und angenehm, ganz ohne den typischen Fischgeruch. Ich finde es sehr gut, dass es in verschiedenen Größen erhältlich ist. Da das Produkt recht teuer ist, kann man zuerst die kleine 60 ml-Flasche ausprobieren und später die größere nehmen. Das Omega-3 ist für Katzen sehr wichtig – unterstützt das Nervensystem, wirkt entzündungshemmend und verbessert das allgemeine Wohlbefinden meiner Katze deutlich. Ein kleiner Nachteil: Die Pipette ist separat vom Deckel, und man muss sie jedes Mal extra reinigen – das ist etwas umständlich. Trotzdem ein qualitativ hochwertiges Produkt, das ich auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen kann. 🐾

Sehr gutes Öl. Katzen fressen es problemlos mit.
