Super cool garden feature
This Royal Lion 54" Tall Outdoor Fountain has completely transformed my backyard into a serene oasis! I've been searching for the perfect water feature for ages, and this one exceeded all my expectations. First off, the elegant faux stone design is absolutely stunning. From a distance, you'd swear it was carved from real stone. The lion head detail is beautifully sculpted, adding a touch of classic grandeur to my patio. At 54 inches tall, it's an impressive focal point that draws the eye and instantly elevates the entire space. Setting it up was surprisingly straightforward. The instructions were clear, and I had it assembled and running in about 30 minutes – no complicated plumbing required, just fill it with water and plug it in. The pump is quiet, and the bubbler sound is incredibly soothing and relaxing. It's the perfect backdrop for reading, entertaining, or just unwinding after a long day. I've had it outdoors for a few weeks now, and it's holding up perfectly to the elements. The faux stone material seems very durable and easy to maintain. It truly looks like a high-end piece that cost much more than it did. If you're looking to add a touch of elegance, tranquility, and visual appeal to your garden, patio, or yard, I cannot recommend the Royal Lion fountain enough. It's a beautiful, well-made, and easy-to-enjoy addition that gets compliments from everyone who sees it. Absolutely 5 stars

Edited - Beautiful focal point for my garden!
Edit- I have loved this fountain since I bought it. Unfortunately three years later, it developed a leak inside that I’m unable to get to to fix since it’s in the part of the fountain that is sealed shut so now I have a beautiful fountain in my garden but no water flow. I really wish there was a way to fix it! I am a 63 year old woman and was able to assemble and put this into place by myself in about half an hour. It was so well packed, it actually took me longer to unpack than it did to assemble! I had the same problem as some of the other reviewers with the tubing not being long enough to push water through the bubbler so I bought extra tubing and increased the length by about 1”. After fiddling around with the clamp (I was trying to tighten it, but soon realized I needed to loosen it for water to come out of the lions’ mouths). After fine tuning the clamp, I finally got even flow from the 4 heads as well as the bubbler. I do wish the basin was deeper to hold more water, then I’d be able to add a slightly larger pump for more, sound, but all in all, I think it’s a beautiful fountain and I’ve had absolutely no trouble with debris clogging the openings. A neighbor asked if it cost me a lot of money… NOPE; my daughter said it looks very heavy… NOPE; my sister said it has a very romantic, old world look…YEP… exactly what I was going for! I highly recommend this fountain! Now here’s something I do to most of my outdoor furniture, decorations, fountains, etc., to protect the finish. Before usage, I spray the item (this fountain included) with 2 to 3 coats of clear Rust-Oleum to protect the finish from fading. After allowing it to dry thoroughly, I decided to “leakproof” the basin. I was unable to find clear epoxy so I sprayed the outside of the basin with clear FlexSeal. It’s experimental at the point, but as of right now, no leaks! Remember the adage , an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure! I highly recommend this fountain!

It’s a great fountain for the price, however…
We purchased the same model of fountain a few years ago. It looks great and we get quite a few compliments on it. We live in the Midwest, so the winters can be harsh. Every fall, we take the fountain apart, clean it, dry it and store it. That said because it’s made of a resin the material does break down in the sun within 2 to 3 years and become brittle. So basically every 3 to 4 years we’re buying another one. We’re currently on our second one.

Stopped working the first week
This fountain gets clogged daily and I don't see anything pieces of mulch or anything that would be causing it. The smallest leaf could clog this thing. The bubbler worked the first 3 days then just stopped. I have cleaned the tubes out twice and got the bubler to work and within days its no longer working again. As of right now its plugged in full of water but it's not working at all. This was not cheap so I am really disappointed with this purchase. It looks really cool but I wanted a fountain that worked :(

Not very durable and really impractical.
I bought this as a gift for my husband, and as great as it looked in the photos, it was a pain to put together, and we had to spend a lot of time taking it apart and tinkering with the hoses and the clamps to get the water pressure to be just right. If you don't get it just right, then water will not come out of the top. The only way to adjust flow is to take the whole top off and disconnect the hoses and tinker around with them. It's heavy and difficult to move. Then, at the end of the first season, a windstorm came through and knocked the fountain over, and it fell down and the round top smashed into tiny bits. So it lasted us less than one year. Not very durable and my heart hurts about my $500 one-season fountain that was a constant source of frustration.

Unreal customer service
So, my first review was only 1 star and I was beyond peeved. The fountain show up severely damaged both top and bottom. Contacted customer support and they sent a whole 2nd fountain within days. The second one was also damaged! In fact the bowl part was worse than the first. Contacted them again, through Amazon and they didn’t hesitate to send out another bowl, this time they repackaged it and it’s perfect. Now-the fountain itself is AWESOME. It’s big and just really nice. Being resin it’s not going to be left in the sun, or out during freezing weather. It’s mostly a shade of green, which looks really nice in person. While it was a hassle getting the broken ones, it was worth it in the end. Thank you to Lamps Plus, their customer service is first rate. (Ultimately it’s the manufacturer in China that isn’t packing these too well and they get damaged being manhandled)

Everything you need for an elegant patio!
I was looking for something that gave my front patio a touch of English or even Tuscan flair and this fountain was just what I needed. I read the reviews and some people complained about the painting but mine came with the perfect touches of old rustic theme I was looking for. People also said to get some clear tubing, some stainless clamp bands, and another pump if you wanted the top to work better. I bought two different pumps and I ended up returning them. The video you see is with the pump that comes with the fountain. It works amazing!! You can see how much water is coming from all areas including the top. All you have to do is cut the tubbing it comes with a little shorter than it is, put the clamps like the other person review with pictures you see here on Amazon, work the valve which regulates the water for the top and the lions until you are happy, and keep enough water and voila! You don’t need to buy any other water pumps. Just 2 tiny clamps. And you will have the most amazing fountain! Check the video and the power that little pump has if you keep a shorter space when cutting the tubing it comes with. Enjoy!

Good Value and Good Looking!
Paint quality is improved from previous years' reviews...it looks very "aged" and is very attractive. Struggled to get the pump to stay attached while securing the top portion. The lions are spouting water (and there's some drips from their noses, which is odd) but no water from the top ball, so I have to take it apart and fiddle with it. The instructions are LOUSY. But the good news is that the hoses / attachments are also greatly improved from the first reviews and I did not have to do anything to get the fountain to work. Well, we'll see how it goes today with getting water to come out of the top.
