1/2" Female NPT in-Line Strainer with 40 mesh Stainless Steel Filter Screen (1/2“ 40 Mesh)

My home is on well water which has many minerals which will cause deposits and blockages in my washing maching. I use this filter between the wall and the washing machine to elimate these minerals. I had a different filter before, but it was poorly made and leaked the first time I emptied the trap. This filter is a better design and seems sturdier with no leaks after one month. I believe it is a good value.

My shallow well has occasionally been pulling up small sand particles that I dont want entering the pump impeller. This screen filter connected quickly with some sharkbite connectors. This filter is a good deal is well made and works well.

Works great, amazing what the mesh filter catches. Only issue is that it leaks unless you really tighten. I see that folks add teflon tape but if your cleaning it weekly that could be a PIA.

It is easy to screw on and makes it so you can have a strainer on your cold plunge. You need to use plumbers tape when installing or it will leak. Also when opening the plastic it sometimes is hard to not have it leak a drop but overall it works great!

The 1/2" Female NPT In-Line Strainer is exactly what I needed to add a filter to my HVAC drain line. Nice strainer, quality feeling materials. Purchased for my off-grid water system as the one that came with my wasserman pump was junk from the box. This is double the size as well, should be great.The pex adapter fittings were not included, I was testing the fit. Unsure if my cheap fittings are undersized or the housing is oversized but very loose fit regardless. I use blue monster teflon tape so I’m not concerned, cheap stuff would take far too many wraps.40 screen is a nice size for my initial filter out of a 330g rainwater tote from 3-foamed gutters

I ordered this product for heater hose application on my old vechicle. It was easy to install,and great for visually monitoring coolant condition along with capturing impurities (rust),so along with the radiator filter, the system functioning properly. Would purchase again

I installed 1/2 brass npt on both end of this filter and just bottom out against the house. I applied Teflon tape and it still has a driving leak. The female 1/2 not in the housing were cut to large.
