The Nutty Fruit HouseChocolate Malt Balls Candy (Milk Malt Balls, 1 Pound (Pack of 1))

I have tried a few different brands in the past and was disappointed so stopped buying. Now, a few years later I tried again. There's a good amount of malt, which melts on the tongue. The milk chocolate tastes like good chocolate, not the cheap waxy stuff. The price is reasonable. Will buy again!

The flavor had a "metal" type taste. The ingredients label is full of content that may be the reason why. I know what excellent malted milk balls are suppose taste as you respond to the melting chocolate and then the crunch of the malt flavor. The malt flavor is very sensitive to create in a recipe. It does not respond well to too many ingredients mixed in it. I have never had as much trouble with an Amazon order as I did this one. I will not order from The Smarty Stop again. Nuts.com has a better product and is closer to the real thing which was made by Goelitz, a candy company that was bought by Jelly Belly I think. I cannot even pull up chocolate malted milk balls on the Jelly Belly website.

These taste great. They were shipped with a cold pack to prevent the chocolate from melting in transit.

These arrived as a bag of paste, melted so long the inner malt balls disintegrated. Needless to say, when it cooled down it became one three-pound mass of whatever passes for chocolate. I question the quality of the chocolate because it liquified so readily.EDIT: The manufacturer was kind and wise enough to send me a replacement bag with a cold pack. Overall, they're not the absolute best malted milk balls I've had but they're still pretty good and well worth the price.

These candies are good they arrived fresh. The chocolate tastes very good it’s just there is no malted milk flavor at all. The ball inside is churchy and fresh but tasteless. These are not malted milk balls.

Tastes just like the Milk Malted Balls I had back in the days. The chocolate is good, just the right about and the malt is good. Reminds me of the Brach's Malted Milk Balls from my youth. Will be ordering again, and again. They shipped with a cold pack, so they did not arrive melted in this 95 degree weather.

They were packed with a cool pack and I picked them up as soon as I was notified that they were delivered. My malted milk balls were a melted mess. Put them in the frig to stop the melting but then I had a mound of cold hard malted milk balls lol. So, we broke pieces off to eat. Not a great way to eat them, really. I live in Florida so it is what it is but I won't order them again.
