I wanted something to eat from that was not as large as a regular dinner saucer - these are perfect. I fill up my place with "tons" of food and its all on 5" instead of 8"... perfect. The one thing I dont care for abou these is the textured plate surface. its not smooth so its hard to cut food on it and it makes it a little harder to clean. but they look nice, they are the right size, I like the lip they have around the edge - I'll use them until I find something better... and at this point - I'm not looking for better - these will do!

I love these little plates. The teal green gradient water wave embossed texture goes with the beach theme in my kitchen, and they are quite useful in the kitchen and other places around the house. I initially ordered mine because I needed something under the soap pump bottle in the kitchen. But then I saw how versatile they really are and began using them as gravy boat saucers, as coasters for a glass of juice, a cup of coffee, or under a hot bowl of soup. They are so pretty, they will make any dessert look appealing. The possibilities are endless.
