Must read for all experience levels
An insightful view into the “strategic” side of the planning and how understated that is when looking in to business. Has opened my eyes to a few things most notably balance in business goals and the openness of mind the ultimate decision makers are to changes.

Pragmatic, Logical Approach to Strategic Planning
Enjoyed reading the book, particularly the real-world examples provided by the authors. They had a no-nonsense style that was easy to read and digest. Have already used some of their approaches to be persuasive with teams. Would recommend to both the novice and experienced practitioner.

Excellent introduction to subject, use caution in implementation
A very good book that lays out an approach to strategic planning and what goes into the different parts of a strategic plan. I recommend reading the book if you are not familiar to the topic of strategic planning and want to get a feel for what it’s about. That being said, I would exercise caution in implementing a strategic plan exactly according to this book, the ending came off a bit frenetic to me. Not all businesses work like what this book describes no matter what they look like from the outside. Most of the time we have incomplete information about organization operations.
