Genuine VW parts for 2.5L engines, pre-gapped as specified for 2.5L VW engines, and neatly and conveniently wrapped tips inside spark plug boxes to avoid damaging the tips of spark plugs with an air bag. These came in fast and now my car starts up like new, drives like new, and feels like new. While I replaced my plugs, I cleaned the throttle bottle body and replaced the engine air filter. They also worked well with my 5/8" swivel spark plug socket, and snugged/torqued in just right without needing more than the specified torque to torque them in. Now that I did this tune up, my 2.5L VW engine can handle 5000 RPMS without struggling, 0 to 60 or emergency kick down procedures that surpass normal pick-up time on a quarter mile, and the sound of the engine in acceleration is a lot cleaner and less noisier than before. Hoping I did things right, the spark plugs stay in and not out after getting heated up in hot temperatures, and will last 40k. Now my 2.5L VW engine sounds like air passing through the air intake when accelerating rapidly from 0 to 60 or kicking down on the highway rather than the engine sounding like a wannabe muscle car struggling to hit 5000 RPM without shifting. Sometimes when you try to save a few dollars, in the end it's not worth it. I bought knockoff spark plugs for my 09 VW JETTA awhile back, and I was told by the dealership after the fact that my un-smooth engine was probably due to a transmission issue. this was at 97,000 miles. Think they wanted me to buy a new car. I browsed around Amazon and saw these genuine spark plugs, at a price much cheaper than the knockoffs. I ordered, i replaced the old knockoffs with the new genuine. Well, after a two mile test drive, there's no skipping, it rode much smoother and quieter. I will take it on the highway when I go to work, see if my gas milage improves, and will write another review. So for now, I'm giving 5 STARS..

All plugs were gapped the same at 1 mm. Works fine on my engine. I thought these weren't the right ones due to Amazon's automatic fit checker. Many sites, including vw parts sites, and euro parts sites, confirm my Beetle 2014 2.5 use these. Even Amazon did, but only for those sold as individual plugs. Bosch had a couple versions, and I used their basic one, it should be similar to these. I just felt like changing it back to actual vw oem rather than the oe Bosch plugs. Ngk sells some too, but I'm sticking with the originals. Engine runs smooth, mpg the same, good idle, no smoke. All I gotta do is use it up until at least 35k miles.

These are 100% genuine VW Spark Plugs. Come sealed in original packaging and each spark plug case bears the Made in Germany stamp of authenticity. My order was estimated to arrive by The next Friday but they arrived the next Monday. Super quick shipping, and amazing service. Half the cost of VW dealerships! They charge $300 for parts and labor of the replacement Spark Plugs. I recommend just watching a Youtube tutorial (google VW Jetta 2.5 spark plug replacement). You only require a socket wrench, a special spark plug socket (just spark plug size that works with any socket wrench), and at least a 6 inch extension. VW doesn't recommend any anti-seize lubricant. You could apply a very small amount if you plan on leaving these plugs in over 80k miles. You will need a torque wrench as they need to be torqued to 18 ft/lbs or 24.5 nm. You can't go wrong with OEM quality parts.
