I got these to hang my outdoor fairy lights to my door canopy (metal). They worked amazing, stayed in place from november to december despite severe wind, rain and snow. The only issue is they are stuck so well I am struggling to get them off. I also used them on my kitchen tiles to neatly place the wires from the lights to the plug socket. Some didn't stick well on the tiles but I also didn't clean the surfaces as advised beforehand. However, the ones that did stick well again are stuck so firmly I am still trying to pull them off. Warm water is advised by some so this is my next job. Overall, perfect for the job, lasted well, slightly tricky to get the backing off at start but well worth the money

Have bought these a good few times now and the are fantastic. Perfect for hanging christmas decorations to the ceiling, after 4 years they are still up and doing good. Of course you can use them for other things too, I also have them around my windows for lights and they are also still there and going strong (do make sure to wipe the surface of window frame first. They are that good my daughter pinched the last lot I bought

To qualify this review, I have only used these to stick onto PVC window, door and porch frames, with the location of each hook being under a slight overhang. They have been used to hold a string of led globe lights that my missus wanted put up for Christmas. I followed the advice of other reviewers and first cleaned the receiving surface with water, dried it, then also cleaned it again with white spirit, and let that dry off. The hooks stuck well, but it is very fiddly to remove the backing covers from the sticky pad on the rear of each one, especially if it is cold, and you have fat fingers like me. You have to be careful not to peel the sticky pad from the back of the plastic hook, so you just have to take your time. The hooks themselves held the cable well and they have enough flexibility to easily tease back whether you are installing or removing the cable. Maybe not the best value for money, but the main thing is they have remained stuck to the PVC throughout the cold and damp. I will look to provide an update in 11 months time

Great value for money. Surprised how well these work outside. Seem to be standing up to the bad weather (wind and rain) with no issues. A little tricky to peel off the film before sticking but other than that they work great

Genius invention… key is to let them settle for a day or 2 before you hang the lights… or whatever else you want to hang. It takes a bit of time to stick properly. Worked perfectly. 👍🏻

Likes The clip is firm and holding my light cables in high wind so big thumbs up on that. Clear so you can not see them on the upvc boards on outside of house. Dislikes Value for money at order however upon receipt and applying them to the cleaned surface alot don't stick. Once peeling off the red backing which is fiddly and very tricky when on a ladder I had 40 of my pack with no sticky glue. Overall The ones that worked are great , however way too many faulty ones and time consuming with the backing.

These are really good! We replaced our fascia and soffit boards so didn’t want to drill holes in them for hooks to hang our Christmas lights so opted for these stick ons after looking through the reviews. We used them last year for the first time and they were great, stayed up all of December and when we took our lights down we left them stuck up there and we have just redone our lights this year they’re still holding firm! Had to replace 2 or 3 which came unstuck but other than that, the rest have remained firmly stuck, even with the gailforce winds and rain we’ve had flapping our lights around!! Only thing I would say is because they’re quite small they’re very fiddly (especially when you’re up over 60ft high hanging lights!) and the clip can break if you lift it wrong but other than that, a great purchase!!

Absolute rubbish, I tried to use them to hang fairy lights around my pvc window frame on the outside. I cleaned the frames and dried before starting. These are not very sticky and are not fit for purpose. I don't like leaving bad reviews but these are so bad I have to let people know. Do not buy these.

Simple, efficace et propre !

I bought these 14 months ago and just ran out so I'm reording more. I use them a lot. They stick pretty well and the clear ones I bought are almost invisible. I use them to hang strand lights, decorations that are fairly light, organize small cords like for chargers or extension cords. I've used them on my inside and outside walls, front door, window, window sils, cabinets and they're very durable. I still had a lot left stuck to my window sils from last Christmas that I was able to reuse even after taking stuff down and losing some. They do pop off if you pull too hard and sometimes the plastic hook breaks off also if you pull too hard or put too much in. They're also easy to pull off if you get something flat to slip under the surface and adhesive. They haven't peeled any paint off of anything yet but I haven't pulled them off all my surfaces so that's yet to be known. Since I'm obviously buying them again, I highly recommend if you want something small and discreet for light decorations.

Bought these to hang my Christmas lights. The suction cups provided with them, just didn't stick. (Not bought on Amazon) This was the best solution for me. Easy to install, just take off the sticker wrap and stick it to the surface, clip the wire in and done.
