it's must have if you plan to have long sessions with these headphones

Though very expensive, they enhanced my audiotechicas sr50s.The highs are very little less sparkly and harsh and the bass does not blear in to the mids as much as it did which was why I went for swede instead of leather earcups. They are miles more comfortable and don't get hot at all which was not the case before.On first impression, don't be put off by the shallowness of the earcups as the memory foam is high quality. It does help being shallow if you find the clamping force tight.Also has angled parts to help comfort.Also good on mx50s but I'm as much of a fan of those headphones.

Was a bit hesitant on spending so much on cups. But glad I did. Fit really easily. And they look great. Don't notice any real sound leakage and they are quite comfortable too.

I tried a couple of alternatives to replace old, tired M50X earpads, but found they altered the sound sometimes horribly.These seem to make no difference to the sound and are definitely an improvement to tired, stock earpads.Note: They are equally small, so if your ears got trapped in the stock pads, they will with these too.Thet are equally warm, so if you got sweaty in the stock pads, you will with these (though these feel more natural so might not be quite as bad)For me, worth the need to move them occasionally, just like the stock pads, because the sound quality is the most important thing and, as I say, these maintain that *and* are an upgrade.

Perfect upgrade to the stock pads if yours has worn down, they are more comfortable without much if any sound changes from stock pads.They were easy to install for a first timer without much effort Ath-m50x retained their sound profile as I known them with the stock pads with added comfort.

tried these after trying their regular sized (oversized) ones. those were comfortable but changed the sound TOO much.these still cut back on the bass a little bit, but that is actually preferable to even out the eq for ath m50 and these feel comfortable all the same and perfect for me.

So far super comfy, will be even better once they are broken in. Better isolation then the stock m50x pads and I havnt noticed any drastic changes in the sound signature. I do find there a little less harsh on the ears as these keep the drivers from resting directly on your ear. Definitely worth the price to upgrade.

Fit the AT headset very well, and have a very soft feel on the ears without too much discomfort. Can wear them for over 3 hours, and very little problems.
