Starfilm Screen Protector For Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Carbon Gen8/Gen7/Gen6 14 Inch Anti Blue Light Anti-Glare/HD Screen Protector (14 Inch, Anti Blue Light & Anti Glare)

This is the second screen protector I bought for my Thinkpad Carbon X 14" (gen8). Th first one claimed to be anti-glare but was not really anti-glare. I could see my reflection in it! And working outside in the sun was not possible with that one. This screen cover is what I was looking for. I can work outside without the sun reflecting in my face. I have installed a few of these things and it's almost impossible to do it without getting a few air bubbles. Don't waste a lot of time trying to get it perfect. When the screen is on you won't notice the bubbles unless they are really bad.

This is not fit for carbon x1 laptop and this is not work for me, my carbon screen 14 inch and this is not fit 😒

Good overall. Mild lift at corner, somewhat prone to scratch.

This item is NOT anti-glare as it is advertised. I installed it following the instructions provided and my screen looks exactly the same. If you're looking for an anti-glare product, do not buy this one.

Installation process was not very intuitive and very difficult. Got lots of bubbles in it and edges aren't very adhesive to the screen! Wouldn't recommend.

Does what it's supposed to do---Finally I got rid of the annoying glare. Pretty clear. Basically the same as a matte screen. Warning: applying screen protectors is an art. Not just this one, but any adhesive screen protector out there. If you have not done it before, it's unlikely you'll get it right on a laptop---it larger it is the harder. I got a pretty good (not perfect) outcome at my second attempt.

Nice product with good price

The instructions for fitting it on the machine were clear and easy to follow, not to mention the provided tools required for the purpose. Giving a four out of five stars only because the corners of the film are rounded (should be right-angled in order to fit exactly) leaving little spaces the film does not cover but I think I can live with that.

The screenshot attached to this review was taken April 9 2021 in Toronto. It's overcast, completely grey, without direct sunlight outside... This is the level of " anti glare". The package the screen protector comes on makes no mention of anti glare, in fact it mentions no bullet point the Amazon listing has. I contacted the company thinking I got the wrong order, however I was met with a sarcastic "all our screen protectors are anti glare at a minimum". I'll be buying another and replacing this one. The only useful out of this order was the cleaning and application tools they provided I wouldn't recommend this.

Not easy to self affix and bubbles remain there for awhile and readjustment on adherence causes creases of seeming permanence
