This is such a cute costume for little girls. I bought got my 3 yo and she hasn't taken it off yet. It fit her perfectly but I will say that we had to work out how to put on. We ending up pulling the top of the bottom up from her legs because attempting to pull down over her head was waaaaaay too much work. Other than that it is well made and worth the money.

This is adorable. Color scheme of green and purple really stands out.. Also, this is so much more age appropriate than the other mermaid costumes for this age group. The top could easily be worn again for dress-up and a turtleneck could be used underneath for added warmth. You may need to buy both sizes to see which one works best as they have not added measurements. Sequins fall off constantly, but the costume held up after one use.

I am one of those people that hardly writes reviews but for this I had to. My almost 4 year old daughter is having mermaid theme party and this outfit is absolutely PERFECT! It fits very snug definitely has mermaid vibes. She is in love with it. Be careful with putting top on I would advise putting head through first then arms one at a time. And taking off do arms first of course one at a time. Be very easy. Material is very thick. She shines in the dress! We love it!

This is such a lovely costume! It fit well (my daughter is 6), is sewn well, and it is fantastically glittery and sparkly even out of the natural sunlight. Yes, some tiny sequins fell off, however they are very tiny sequins and one would never notice they were missing from the dress at all. I am prevented from giving a solid 5 star review because the outfit is very itchy and scratchy. I will attempt to buy some sort of slip as a barrier between the costume and my daughter’s skin.

I ordered this for my grand daughter that is turning 3. I look very big for her size but she can grow into it, it is super cute though and this mermaid loving kid will love it!

We bought this as a backup mermaid costume, and we ended up using it a bit. The skirt is beautiful and very shiny, and it looks really good on our daughter, but two major issues:First, there is no sort of elastic or anything that really holds up the skirt. It's not very stretchy material, either. So while it seemed to be a pretty good fit, I could tell it wasn't going to stay up. Sure enough, it kept falling down, revealing undies.Second, on both the skirt and the top, the sequins shed like crazy and get into places they should not be able to (like inside the revealed underwear!). I bought a sequin mermaid tail for myself from a different company (adult size), and they had a sort of nearly-invisible mesh over the sequins, holding them in. Something for this seller to consider adding (although maybe that would take out some of the beautiful shine of these sequins).The top is beautiful and seemed to shed less, but we didn't wear it as much, so that might be why. For pictures, we paired the top with a more mermaid-like mermaid tail, and the top was perfect with its cute little flare. This skirt was easier to walk in, so we switched to this skirt after pictures. (It's easier to walk in but not necessarily 100% easy to walk in. :) )Add some sort of elastic or something to hold the skirt up better and do something to keep the sequins from shedding, and you would have a five-star outfit... it's a very cute outfit for special occasions, and with some imagination, mermaiding around.

This outfit was way cheaper (1/4 the price) than the ones sold on Etsy. It is pretty good quality and my daughter loves it. It is on the larger end, but figure she can grow into.
