So far, I'm impressed that my finicky cat will actually eat this. He refuses wet food of any sort; only eats dry kibble; so to get any kind of medication in him I have to mix it into his Inaba Churu paste treat. Usually, he can tell it's been adulterated & turns up his nose at it. But this powder, emptied out of its capsule & stirred into the paste treat, hasn't turned him off one bit. It's been less than a week so it's too soon to see any effects. But at least I feel good that he's getting 100% of it in him! 12/8 update: Wow, what a difference I'm seeing in my 3-year old cat after just this short time of approximately 3 weeks. He's regained some of his kittenish playfulness, which he'd completely lost. He'd been acting like a cranky old man; now he wants to wrassle with the sheets when I make the bed. He's engaging more with our 10 month old Lab puppy & it does my heart good to see them playing, running around in the yard. The cat will chase the dog, then the dog chases him. Before this supplement, he'd run & hide anytime the puppy showed interest in him. Now, the fact that he feels better is, I think, giving him more confidence. He'll lie back & let the puppy lick him and love on him. I'm a 100% satisfied customer!

I bought this product to treat my cat's cardiomyopathy--it certainly has many ingredients that could help him. Unfortunately, the first time I put this supplement in my cat's food (I used 1/2 capsule of it to introduce it slowly), he vomited violently at least seven times within a half hour. He clearly cannot consume it safely. Unfortunately, Amazon tells me that I am not permitted to return this product for a refund--this is a disappointment, since this is an expensive supplement. I hope it works better for other pets. UPDATE: Fera Pets has made a full refund of the cost of this product. I do appreciate their constructive response. In fact, my cat may have an overly sensitive digestive system. I truly wish he could have used it--the ingredients in the product could have helped his cardiomyopathy.

Many people don’t know this, but felines NEED taurine in their diet. Most cat foods do not contain the adequate amount of taurine for cats. I purchased this for my younger cats to ensure they are consuming their needed taurine each day. DO NOT let your vets tell you they don’t need taurine. They DO. It is essential for longevity in cats. My cats didn’t like these at first, I mixed half a capsule for each cat in a churu and they ate it up. After only two days, my cats have much more energy and are playing like CRAZY! I feel this will extend their quality of life. No matter their age, you should be giving your cats one or at least half a capsule a day!

My dog’s vet and I feel that this is a good supplement for her cardiac condition coupled with her RX. Been using it for over a year and her heart condition has continued to be stable.

As soon as my dog was diagnosed with heart disease, I did my research and decided to buy these capsules. I truly believe they are what kept him off meds for so long and now it's supporting him in his heart failure. They are not a cure-all, merely a support for heart health in addition to the cardiologist prescribed meds. The packaging says you can either feed as a capsule or open it and pour the powder onto their food. My dog will eat just about anything but will not willingly eat these. I have to hide the capsule in treats or canned food. If he accidentally busts it open and gets the powder on his food, he will outright refuse to eat it so the taste is apparently not good.

As excited as I was for this product, my cats won’t eat their food once I add this, even in the smallest increments. I will keep trying since it’s “new” for them. Maybe persistence on my part will achieve a breakthrough.

This supplement was recommended for my 16 year old cat's heart murmur. I mix the powder in his wet food, and so far he's not enjoying it. It's too soon to know if it's effective, but it's a step toward improved cardiac health. Fingers crossed.

Great product for my kitties with HCM and heart murmurs. Their proBNP values have actually decreased since starting them on it, which is great!! Easy to open capsules, and I love that they use clear capsules (unlike a competitor with a similar product, that uses titanium dioxide capsules) 100% recommend!!

Changing my review to better align with the service I've received. This product didn't work for my beloved dog. It may very well for for others. The company reached out with apologies, and for that, I'm grateful. Customer service is attentive and considerate.

This product struck me as being high quality and trusted, as it's created by a Veteranarian. The capsules come apart easily, so that sprinkling it into my doggies bowls is easy and precise. One of my pups has a congenital heart condition, the other doesn't, but I give them both a capsule a day. Every little thing we do for our 4 legged friends is worth every penny!
