Talens Art Creation Skechbook Black 14,8X21 cm, 140 Grams

This is a great sketchbook, worth working in with gouache and light watercolor, brush pens and colored pencil. Pen work too. I love the larger size and it's perfect for big spreads without being too overwhelming. As long as you let layers dry in between each addition, gouache is my favorite to work with in these. The paper seems slighhhtly thicker than the next size down, I think it's the 13x21 cm version.

These little sketchbooks are perfect to carry along (especially on a trip) for on-site sketching. They are lightweight, and the paper is heavy enough to handle a little water (94 lb.). I like to use a water-soluble pen (Pilot Razor Point) so I can go in after I finish drawing and pull out some values. The books come in many different cover colors, which makes them just right for any kind of journaling, since you can keep using different colors so you know which book is which.

I was apprehensive about getting these for my kids/teens because of the higher cost compared to other brands but they are worth it. This sketchbook is very durable and is the perfect size for being hauled around in a backpack to-and-from school without showing a lot of wear and tear. The elastic band holds it closed and protects the inner pages but the book lays open flat for sketching without wearing out the binding over time. The paper is thick so bleed through to the next page isn’t an issue (unless you draw on both sides of the page, because it will show up on the back with Pigma Micron pens or sharpies). The paper is thick enough that drawing doesn’t leave impressions on the next page. The paper’s smooth texture eases blending and erasing. These are my kids’ favorite sketchbooks for art class and at home.

Talens sketchbook are great quality and most reasonably priced across the line. The paper is a yellowish cream and can handle gouache, acrylic gouache, and other dry media. Would also make for a nice journal.

I LOVE THESE MULTI MEDIA BOOKS!!! i wish they had more sizes and colors! Markers pens pencils have a GOOOOD show rate compared to water color

first time buying this particular size of the art creation sketchbook. Fits nicely in my purse with a pentel pocket brush clipped to it. Stickers adhere well to the outside, and the cover resists smudges from being tossed around my bag. The paper takes pretty much all dry media well (a little too smooth for chalk pastels) and works nicely with gouache, acrylic and light washes of watercolor.

Great value for the money. Not meant for watercolor but handles other paint products. The paper is a light tannish color, not white. Very pleased.

Great sketchbook. Works fab for fineliners, ordered more for watercolours as well, hopefully it will work as well.

Ho conosciuto gli sketchbook della Talens in Francia e da allora li ho cercato in Italia ma solo su Amazon li ho ritrovati. La carta è avorio e 140g ma io riesco comunque ad usarci sia acquarelli che acrilici. Unico accorgimento è usare acquarello leggero. La carta è bella liscia per cui anche penna stilografica e bic sono perfette e la matita anche. Insomma per chi lo usa sempre in viaggio per sketches veloci è perfetto.

Kaliteli bir sketchbook. turkuaz rengini çok beğendim. boyutu da güzel. cm'ine bakarak sipariş verirseniz çok daha iyi olacaktır çünkü belki size küçük gelebilir. ben tükenmez kalem, akrilik marker, kuruboya ve uçlu kalem kullanarak bişeyler çizdim. hepsi için gayet ideal. ama suluboya ve pastel boya kullanmadığım için nasıl olurlar bilmiyorum. Ama sadece kuruboya yada normal uçlu kalem kullanarak çizecekseniz bence gramajı kalın. yani defter kaliteli olunca insanın çizesi gelmiyor sayfaları harcayası gelmiyor ama
