Sturdy made from good quality steel - worked very well

Did the trick nicely. Needed to replace a rotten piece of timber across my garden gate. Couldn’t screw it down from the top as the posts are too weathered to hold a screw securely. These did the trick perfectly. Quality plates, heavy and sturdy.

The plates are good quality and sturdy. I used to repair a split in a wooden bed frame and were perfect for the job.Only criticism is that they are not cut completely square on the ends, so don't lay next to each other perfectly - but only talking a few millimetres so not particularly noticeable.Also the corners can be quite sharp if left exposed over an edge, so worth having a small metal file to smooth them off.

I broke my footrest on my electric chair during a fall, and got quoted a ridiculous amount for repair and call fee "Ridiculous Amount". These wood repair strips there size I used (approximately 10" by 1" by I think 5mm) each have 20 screw holes in, and they are solid and just what was needed for the repair. Easy to use, certainly value for the money and it they did what I needed so functioned well. The leg rest is back to being like new.
