This is the perfect city/walking/hiking bottle! It's leakproof, thick enough so it doesn't dent but thin enough so it is lightweight. I think the negative reviews were for people expecting an insulated bottle. Those are heavy and bulky, and are hard to carry around if you walk a lot - this one is perfect!!

I personally purchased the black color, which looks sleek and sophisticated. However, I do wish I had purchased a more fun color to add some personality to it.The narrow mouth of the bottle is a double-edged sword. While it gives the bottle a sleek and stylish appearance, it also makes it impossible to clean by hand. Thankfully, the bottle is dishwasher-friendly, but if you prefer to wash it by hand, a dip of soap and swishing some water in it tends to work.My only complaint about this bottle is the cap. When unscrewing the cap, it makes a really annoying squeaky sound, which can be bothersome.Overall, I highly recommend the Mizu M8 25 oz. Single Wall Narrow Mouth Stainless Steel Bottle with Loop Cap for anyone looking for an aesthetically pleasing and minimalist water bottle. Just be aware of the narrow mouth and the annoying sound the cap makes when unscrewing it.

This is a metal water bottle with a plastic lid. The bottle measures 11” tall x 3” in diameter. It will fit inside a car cupholder or bicycle water bottle cage. The bottle is stainless steel, while the lid is BPA-free plastic. The opening of the bottle is 1.5” wide. The lid incorporates a plastic loop that can be used for carrying or tie-downs. The bottle was made in China.I like the sturdiness of this bottle. It will stand up to a lot of abuse and drops, much more than a glass bottle. But being steel, it also doesn’t have the issues of a plastic water bottle (plasticizers leaching into the water and odd taste). Another thing I like about this bottle is that it closes tightly and does not leak. This water bottle is basic, not lined, so it’s not designed to keep drinks either hot or cold all day. Still, it doesn’t a fairly good job at keeping drinks cold, at least compared to plastic water bottles. Note that the top is rather narrow, so it won’t accept large ice cubes. Overall, this water bottle is quite durable and handy for every day use.

Mizu's 25 oz Water Bottle seems to me to be a high quality bottle that is light in weight but big on strength. It holds enough water to get me through my workout and is an excellent way to avoid using plastic bottled water for daily use. I appreciate that it's free of PBA's, made of 18/8 food grade stainless steel, and has a top that secures tightly, preventing any unwanted leakage. It's coated in a good looking mat finish which on Mizu's recommendation, should be hand washed rather than put in the dishwasher to keep it looking so nice. Please note that this bottle is not recommended for hot beverages. I've posted some photos and sincerely hope they, along with my experience, helps you out a bit with your choice. Mizu made a water bottle that not only looks good but is also safe to drink out of. I highly recommended it. Thank you!

I know I'm supposed to drink water all the time so this helps me get my daily water allotment. I used it at work and it's short enough to fit in the water dispenser. I know there is a tendency for water bottles to get huge, especially the plastic ones. I'm glad that this one is metal and no possibility of plastic leaching into the water. I also had once ordered at glass one, which I figure is the best, but it got destroyed in shipping to me so this is probably the next best thing for durability. It is smaller than other bottles that I've used but it's also a benefit of being smaller. Time will tell how the paint will hold up. Very nondescript, classy design. High build quality.
