This VEGA pea protein powder has been a great addition to my workout routine, both before and after. If you understand your body's needs and workout goals, this, or likely any whey, can be beneficial. For me, the function and price of this particular powder were the deciding factors, especially since it's affordable with EBT SNAP benefits. I appreciate that the ingredients are verifiably good and standardized. It mixes easily with water – I find this yields the best results as protein powder doesn't seem to dissolve well or healthily in milk. The smell and taste are both really tasty, and it's acceptably filling. The sugar content isn't overwhelming either.

The value you get for the healthy protein and low-calorie drink are worth it. My doctor recommended this for a supplement because of my dietary health. It helps me get enough protein and I notice I feel more energized, and my hair and nails grow better. It has a smooth texture and a good taste.

My little brother put us onto this vegan protein powder. I tried the Vega chocolate flavor first and found it to be good but a little bland, esp when mixing with just water. This Mocha flavor has more depth of flavor, almost like a hint of coffee. I really enjoy it. It’s easy to shake into water or milk—it’s a little gritty but I don’t mind that. Helps my recovery. Ingredients are pretty clean. I make smoothies in the blender with milk + ice and it’s delish.

My wife is autistic with PCOS. She needs protein and her breakfast (this protein shake) to be the same every single day. The texture was fine, it was simple and yummy, so it's been our go-to for years. This morning I opened the "same" powder in the new packaging for her. She took one sip and asked me what I did wrong or what changed. The new taste is horrible, chemical-y, nothing like the familiar and delicious flavor it had previously. Undrinkable. The formulation has changed and not at all for the better—cheaper ingredients, different blends. So now we're on the hunt for a different brand of protein powder. For the second time in 5 years.

I am not good at eating three meals a day and my primary nutritional need is protein. This mix made with water taste good. I don’t add anything when I make it. I use a bullet blender and chilled water. I find it very effective to drink before going to sleep, helps me feel better when I awaken. I have been drinking VEGA protein in various formulas and I don’t add anything like this one. In both chocolate and mocha.

The product tastes great! However, the net weight is lower than what is stated on the can. It says 28 oz net weight (which means the weight of the product without the can), but even with the can and lid on it included, brand new can was only 23 oz. This makes me unsure if I can completely trust this brand now.

I LOVE the flavor. The mocha is so perfect, almost like the real mocha you can taste from coffee shop. There is this weird taste of sweetness at the end of the flavor that i am not a huge fan of, but so far the flavor is good. But what annoys me is this scoop. Seriously this is the best design you could think of? Gets on my hands and all over the counter every single time. If i cancel the subscription it would definitely be because of this horrible scoop.

Formula has changed. Flavor is not the same. I’ve been buying this brand and flavor for about 5 years and this order the flavor is different and not good. So far no response from my attempts to contact the company for a replacement or refund. It was a great product until now.
