Absolutely beautiful, Spode does not disappoint! Nice size, will make a good amount of coffee. Totally worth the price, it's just gorgeous!

Just arrived. The box was open but the contents were perfectly packed. Concerns about the quality of the brewing - as suggested by the negative comments - have not materialized in the first two times we brewed coffee. The design is elegant and it is nice to have it on the table. Our purchase was made with 4 mugs of the same maker. Good quality and aesthetically pleasing.

The screen and corresponding coil that backs out up do not fit snug enough to keep coffee grounds from coming around. I had to work on it since to get it to filter properly and you still have to be careful. There's a lot of play between the plunger stem and the top ceramic so that it slops around a good bit. It's very thin and fragile feeling with the brass plunger stop being the only exception. It's pretty but more just to look at than something you're going to use every day. If we could go back and hold it before buying it, we wouldn't have purchased.

My husband can't get enough of this French Press. He makes me coffee every morning because he loves it. Uses an extra filter.

Beautiful piece. Only thing I do not like about it is that you either leave the lid and press off when it is steeping or you take the press out of the lid to steep and put it back in to press. Works well but not as functional as I would like.

The package is well packed and fast delivery. Never get disappointed with Spode blue collection, classic and love to enjoy my coffee.

This product is absolutely beautiful and a joy to look at while having coffee. However, the manufacturer does not provide a very good screen filter. It is too small causing the screen to fall into the coffee and get grounds above the screen. The lid falls off very easily when pouring closer to the end. I had a broken French press and decided to switch the screens. Now it works perfectly!! To the manufacturer; USE 4 INCH SCREENS!!!! This is too expensive for the customer to have to figure this out.

This is a beautiful cafetiere, my second one bought to replace one with a broken lid. The Blue Italian design with the domed lid is beautiful and the plunger and filter well made. It is delicate however, so be careful when washing and pouring. Definitely recommended.

Es una prensa muy bella, pero sumamente básica en los detalles enfocados a la preparación de café. Decora perfecto el espacio y la porcelana es de buena calidad. Considero que es más un elemento decorativo. Sirve perfectamente para hacer café, pero si buscas una prensa que tenga un enfoque de calidad y precisión en la preparación de café, ésta no es la mejor opción.

However, does NOT include a strainer so coffee grinds are a slight problem... Also you must hold the top part of the plunger as you pour otherwise it will fall...

Bought 2 of these one for my friend and one for me as we both have Spode Italian dinner services. We are both delight with the product, lovely size and looks smart.
