It's a well made thing and it comes with batteries. Setup is easy, with only two parts needed to be connected. Obvious and easy to follow markings on the arm cuff, i.e. difficult to put it on incorrectly. The cuff it comes with will fit an arm up to about 12.5 inches. That will likely fit the majority of women; however, most males, even with modestly sized arms, will be bigger than that. Average male arm size is around 14 inches. They sell additional 'extra large' cuffs as an add on. That's what I bought after the original package turned up. It's not a criticism of the product; I should have checked properly before buying it. In any event, setup takes seconds and the test only a little more. It's quick and easy to use. Display has large characters that I can read without spectacles. It's a good thing.

I have been asked to take my blood pressure twice a day for a week. I had my Omicon nurses machine somewhere in the house, and it was removed from my medical bag. So I used the wrist BP machine and these are very inaccurate, it was so high.. I couldn't send those results in. So I went onto Amazon to purchase this one. This isn’t an Omicon machine, but had good reviews, so I thought I would try it. My readings have been similar now I have this new one, and seems much more accurate. The wrist bp machines are less accurate because of the placement on the wrist, The A & D machine I haven’t seen before nor used, even though I am a semi retired nurse/ care senior worker. Works virtually out of the box, so a very simple process. I like very much that it comes with four x AA batteries, easy to insert and put the back on.. Unlike my wrist BP machine, this one doesn’t ask lots of questions like the date, time etc. This one once the batteries are in situ, is done, so easy. Now for those who are new on how to take your blood pressure correctly, please continue to read. I am left handed, my BP is always taken on that side If you have had an operation on an arm or shoulder, please use the other arm Ensure the cuff fits you before starting the machine. Put the cuff on, once in place, ensure it is tight, but not too tight. You should be able to put two fingers inside the cuff. The grey connector or tube that runs from the cuff to the machine must lie on the inner part of your arm as straight as possible, ie like a straight line. It is best to sit on a chair with a back Feet on the ground, and no cross legs The machine is better on a level stable surface A pillow can be put under the arm to keep everything level. After this, you should be ready, press the start button. You will need to keep still whilst the machine measures the three readings. To understand the three readings as follows… 1. The first one, ie the top number, is your blood pressure when your heart beats. 2. The second or middle one is your blood pressure when your heart relaxes 3. The third is to measure how many times your heart beats each minute, so the pulse rate. To understand or to give your reading to a health professional, the highest number is always the systolic pressure and always given first, the middle number is what’s called diastolic. So the top number could be 120 systolic / 80 diastolic. I hope the information helps with using this machine. The battery life for the first four batteries is up to 7 hours, always best to keep some spare. This BP machine is clinically validated for accuracy The cuff size 22 - 32 cm In the box comes an information sheet + instructions + cuff + batteries + machine. I would have liked a safety bag with the machine to keep it nice and clean, otherwise I will need to buy one or keep in the box. Great little blood pressure machine which comes in its own bag with batteries supplied. You can just pop in the batteries and use it immediately. Takes accurate results and easy to use and read the numbers. Nice design and the numbers are nice and bright.

Purchased in January 2025 and it’s been very reliable. Easy to use, clear display, and readings are consistent. The cuff fits well and it’s reassuring knowing it’s NHS-supplied and clinically validated. Highly recommended for home monitoring.

I am really happy with this product it appears to accurately read my blood pressure and easy to use. However one very small point that I find a nuisance is that the battery cover kept falling off so I had to tape it on. As I say, a small point but does detract from what I consider an excellent product.

Working fine. I have tried to measure BP for my mother who has BP problem and health issues. Seems to work fine tried 3 times to average result. But seems accurate. Build quality is fine. Comes with battery that too Duracell included 4. That is a plus.

Helemaal wat ik nodig had, een bloeddrukmeter met manchette. Nu kan ik de meeting niet controleren, maar de waardes waren zoals ik ze ken. Goedkoper dan in de winkel, zo vaak heb ik het niet nodig.
