About how many rocks are in one bag?

Not very many! I'm gonna need to buy 3 more bags to fill in a 24" x 24" pit

I want to use these for a project with 96 art students. Are there over 96 rocks in the 10 lb bag? If we drop the larger rocks, will they break?

Theres only about 10 rocks in the bag - super disappointing

Can I use these rocks for a cooking fire pit?

Don’t know if suitable for cooking. We used for decorative fire pit in outdoor “conversation or gathering table”. Did not want to cook and have smoke bothering guests sitting around the fire pit.
