I've fixed it!!
This product never worked properly. The dial in the top didn't turn fully so it only ever worked on fan.I took the filter off, took the * shaped screws out of the base and prised the fan apart. After a little trial and error, I got the dial to turn fully and reassembled. Now it works like it was always supposed to! (For heat anyway, will wait for summer to try the cooling)

Good for fan but not warm enough
It's quite ok for fan, but the heating system is weak, not hot enough to warm up the room, but better than no warmer at all.

How did this product get to market??
This is probably the worst purchase I have made in a long long time. This heater could easily be the case study for any design course as to how not to design a product. They either didn't review competitor products, or they did and decided that every other product out there with a consistent set of functionality was off the mark and they they went the other direction. And then got no customer usage or study group input before going to prodution.I have only had this two days and in that time I have realised it comes with no instructions, and the online manual cursory, that the documents with it are incorrect to the point of being false, misleading, and probably in breach of CE Mark requirements. It runs for a random period of time, it does not run till it heats the room to a temperature. It cuts off when it decides to, and then stays off. Has no thermal sensor, because why would you want a heater that keeps a room at a set temperature or turns back on when the room cools down.Imagine that you buy a new oven, and when it gets to temperature or has run for a random period of time it turns off. You then need to go and turn it back on. And then rinse and repeat the entire period you wanted to cook with it. Well imagine no more, you can get that experience with this heater. Absoultely useless functionality. The temperature setting is advertised as between 25 and 35, well it isn't. It is just 25 OR 35. No information if that is the target temperature or the output in the single A4 info sheet. Grabbed the manual and it says it is the output temperature. Which then begs the question of how can a device have a single 500watt usage rating but manage to output two different temperatures? Well apparently the company that could not incorporate a thermal system to be able to turn on the heater when it cuts out has been able to bypass the laws of physics and thermal dynamics. They haven't, to be clear. Which means that the CE Mark has been awarded on a product that is not this. The low fan setting is so low that it barely moves the air, so the front gets so hot it feels like it will self combust. The heating even with the fan on "high" is so slow that after 2 hours it warmed the air in a 3.5m by 4m room by a pitiful 2 degrees. My old stand alone heater after 5 minutes heated the room by 2 degrees. So when you compare power usage and cost, the climate cube is a losing equation. It also somehow manages to pump out the driest air I have every experienced from a heater. I have an eye condition and dry air makes it flare up, and with this heater I have been constantly using eye drops since running it.I had such high hopes for this, but am so disappointed. I just cannot understand the point of putting something like this on the market. It has questionable functionality, has such a limited market scope and is surpassed in performance by cheaper better functional units.

great design but dissapointing performance
i really liked the idea and functionality of the product but I'm not sure if I received a faulty item the heat output was poor and the hottest setting was not enough to make a difference in a small 2x2m room and you get more heat and power from a hairdryer but my item may have been faulty.

Ideal for heating just your personal space
Don't expect these small heaters to hear a large area. They're ideal if your in a cold spot in the house and just want to warm your own personal bubble. Don't cost a lot to run, and may help you cost wise, as it may delay you putting your central heating on to say later in the day, once people come in from work etc.
