Thank you so much for your interest in the Dig Detox case. It is important to note that EMF testing equipment must be professionally accredited for reliable results. Occasionally videos are posted online of home tests of faraday phone cases using retail EMF meters in an uncontrolled environment.. These are effectively 'toy' EMF meters and their results cannot be relied upon. These home tests pick up a lot of ambient electromagnetic fields, and should be disregarded as a means of credibly testing a faraday phone case.

The Dig Detox case has been tested using industry grade EMF testing equipment. The case is lined with faraday fabric produced by an ISO9001 certified facility, which undergoes extensive testing under controlled environments.

It should also be noted that the case is designed to block EMF from entering your body, as opposed to blocking all signals to and from the device, which would prevent WIFI, GPRS and cellular connectivity altogether.

Does the spine of the case have the radiation shield in too or just the cover?

We have designed the case to protect the user from radiation principally when the phone is in a passive position, for instance in your pocket (whilst walking/running) or on your bed side table (whilst sleeping).

The material which blocks EMF is called Faraday Fabric and we can confirm to you that the front cover, spine and a section of the back cover are indeed lined with such material. It is for this reason that we recommend that the camera faces away from your body when the phone is carried in your pocket, and that you use headphones during conversation.

does this cover all around the phone? Can radiation still emit from the top, bottom or exposed side?

If it does, I can’t see how on earth it gets a signal. Besides, the instructions on use says keep the camera facing away from you when in your pocket or on a table. I think this case is a half way house from having nothing. Keep your phone in this case, away from your head when talking if you can.
