Bodyhoop Joy Weighted Hoop for Exercise & Fitness

Torture device.I hula hoops at a woman's convention and was looking for similar hoops. There's were custom made pvc ones. Reading tons on Amazon, I picked these.Bought 2 so my kids didn't say, I want to try (whine voice)... didn't need to. These things hurt!! No one. Including me , wants to use it. I followed directions of a moment here or there the first few days. My 16 year old and I laughed as we beat ourselves up. I thought I was going to break my toes dropping them! My sides hurt and not the good workout way.Weeks in and i once got 7 spins. 4 is my norm before I jump outta the way in fear as it hits the ground. Have to be super aware of where my 2 year old is because this could seriously hurt her.I now own two dust collectors for my basement.

I bought this to have another exercise to do , to help me with weight loss. This is so fun and such a great workout for just minutes per day. I lost 2 pounds the first week ! What I didn’t expect , is how much hula hooping helped my feet . They became so much stronger from just 10 minutes a day of hula hooping. I LOVE , LOVE my new weighted hula hoop !

Overall I like this hoolahoop but it comes apart really easily, the metal pieces where it connects didn’t fit in properly because one of them wasn’t bent enough so sometimes while I’m using it, one of the sections will come apart. But other than that it’s fun to use and didn’t cause any bruising. I felt significant results and ab soreness after just the first use

On the site from which I bought my hula hoop. at the top there is a chart informing potential buyers which size hoop is recommended. At the bottom of the page is another chart. For my size there was a conflict of information. between the two charts. I decided to use the upper chart. I believe that was a huge mistake and that I should have purchased the smaller size. I went ahead and bought the larger size per reviews which said that the larger sizes were easier. Not true. I now have to buy a smaller size as I believe that would better suit me. But...fabulous hoop.

Nothing against the seller, but beware when using this around edges of tables/walls/etc. The foam gets sliced up quickly. Just be careful if you aren’t the best— maybe use it in an open space. Also, after using this, I’m very glad I didn’t opt for a heavier hoop. This is perfect. Slight chemical smell when opening but it goes away quickly

i started with a cheap plastic thing from a local store ... do NOT do this it's too flimsy and light to really work ... i tried a "weighted one" to naively "increase the burn" (or whatever) and it was very challenging to keep it going (no workout if you spend all your time picking it up) ... this 42 inch is perfect size (i'm 6 foot) and the weight is such i can actually do it for 20 to 30 seconds at a time working out ... that's more stamina that it may sound like ... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR WORKING OUT WITH

Hula Hoop is too heavy. Fun and exercise

I ordered this hula hoop because it is made of metal inside. I had already purchased (and returned) a hoop that was made of plastic and it was very floppy at the seams. This one is solid and I can hula hoop for the first time in my life! It is a nice weight and padded. I am extremely happy with my purchase!!!!!! Thank you Body Hoops
