I'd be really surprised if this doesn't hold up it seems real sturdy. The reason I took a chance on it was the set up I have for this is really bulky and inconvenient.I always research the reviews on stuff here before I buy anything and I always look more at the 1 and 2 star reviews more than anything. With that being said I though it was really odd that all reviews under 5 stars all say the same thing, the magnet doesn't hold? If that is the only major complaint why is it the same complaint for 1,2,3, and 4 stars? That sound like a major fail on the product, wouldn't they all be 1 stars it pretty useless if the magnet doesn't hold?Therefore I wrote off all those reviews knowing I can return it and decided to try it. The magnet feels strong it grabs, I can't say I'm worried in the slightest it will fall off. But if that changes I will let you know.

I just installed the device on my computer, took a full 23 seconds. I really like it because I didnt even need to add the little magnet to the back of my phone because my phone case has a magnet built in. Very easy to clip on and off.Solid work and product. Will recommend to my friends.I like it because I can keep my phone up and use it as an extension to my computer and my efficiency with work is already showing results.Update. After about a month or so, the arm that holds the phone lost its ability to hold the phone in any position. Now it only works in the most far out position, still works but just cant position the phone in any angle.

Years after owning this and its still holding strong! I recommend! you do need to have a sort of metal attached to the back of your phone so the magnet has something to magnetize to (unless you have a new iphone i guess)

After seeing on social media how useful of a piece this is for multitaskers or people that work off their phone, I thought, why not. Boy was I wrong in even considering on purchasing this extremely cheap product. For the first two or three times it worked but after a slight movement, my phone would fall off. I truly regret purchasing this product as it is now stuck to my laptop (not removable at all by the way if you have a sticker cover for your laptop), as well as the useless magnet that is now stuck (non-removable either) on my phone. Wish I could get my money back.

This briefly seemed really great but there were two issues:1. The magnet you attach to the phone got super hot when in contact with a wireless charger (charging port is broken) so had to be re-positioned to the top of the phone from where it was originally (near the middle) which made it awkwardly placed on the bracket / had to be kind of angled against the laptop to not easily be bumped / fall off. Putting it so close to the laptop made it difficult for people to hear me using speaker phone... IDK why, maybe the angle. I can use the same phone sitting on the desk on speaker with no issue at all.2. The magnet fell off the phone; possibly due to the re-positioning. It came with two magnets (stuck to each other which was confusing for a minute) so I could try again but haven't because no one could hear me clearly anyway.

This lets me have my phone attached to my computer, side by side, so I can take calls or join video conferences without cluttering my laptop screen. The magnet is strong and it comes with small metal disks that fit perfectly inside a pop socket. The rest of the phone holder is sleek, low profile, well designed and super simple to use.

This holder is great. It holds my phone (in vertical position) and keeps it off my desk. The magnet is not strong enough to hold phone in horizontal position.
