Perfect.
There are some strings, kinda like fringe comming off the elastic parts on the front, but it is not so much that I think they will fray away. It looks like putting items into the grid and removing them have caused enough friction to loosen the threads. It seems like this is pretty normal as the elastic isn't damaged, there was just some extra threads. I only mention it because it seems at first like the straps were going to fray away to nothing, but once a few strands came loose and worked their way out of the woven pattern of threads and elastic it has been fine. There was a bit of a strong smell (a latex rubber smell) after a few days it lessened. This works really well to hold my camera, wallet, cell phone and stylus all in my bag and easy to find. I would not recommend putting large or bulky items into the grid on the front, the flap won't close. It is great for objects that are pretty flat like a cell phone, pens, eyeglass case etc.... I think this will be great for keeping my school bag organized. I can keep all the things I need for school in it and it fits my ipad in its case securely, it's a little snug but that is keeping it safe, considering I have a fairly thick case I was suprized it fit.

Works Just Fine for iPad. Do Not Purchase for MS Surface Pro.
If you own an iPad, it fits well in these sleeves and you do not need to read any further. MS Surface Pro owners looking for an aftermarket sleeve are invited to read on.I have purchased these Grid-IT products in a variety of sizes so I would be able to outfit a non-computer bag to transport my electronics. They all worked pretty well. I have an iPad in the household, but my device of choice is an MS Surface Pro tablet computer. Wanting to have a lower profile case with more features than the sleeve I purchased from the Microsoft Store, I decided to try this sleeve based on the puclished dimensions. The dimensions listed are accurate, however the way the stitching has been done prevents the MS Surface Pro from sliding into the sleeve without exerting substantial pressure on the device. I contemplated some method of stretching the fabric to mkae it fit, but my need for a replacement sleeve was not great enough to spend the time on it.Recommended for iPad owners who want the built in cable organizer. Not recommended as a repurposed MS Surface Pro case.

Good for Staying Organized on a Trip or in a Large Bag
If you carry a lot of stuff around in a large bag/purse (meaning 99.9% of women), this is a very easy way to keep things tidy and easy to access, without having to dump the contents of your purse out or spend hours searching though the compartments (not that I've ever done either of those things...). The downsides to all the organizing possibilities this offers is that it's bulky and you really can't have your iPad in a case to use this protector. The plus side is that your iPad is well protected and you can actually find stuff.I'd recommend this for traveling as it's a great way to organize all your electronics but for everyday use, it really depends on a) how good or bad your current system is; and b) whether you actually NEED to carry a ton of stuff to require such a holder. I don't use it regularly but I'm hanging on to it for traveling.

Smells terrible, looks terrible, works great!
Neoprene has an awful chemical smell, though I'm sure some people just love it. That said, the case does exactly what you'd expect it and want it to do. I've been a GRID-IT! fan for a few years now, and own far too many GRID-ITS! The pocket on this one is perfect for an iPad with the Belkin slim-keyboard cover (since that alone offers basically no protection for a drop or fall). I usually keep my LImefuel battery in there, along with the cables I'll need. The case also looks pretty awful. Maybe that's too strong, but it's lumpy (with my battery in the organizer) and shapeless and just bleah. As someone who has used a Book Book case for my iPad in the past (love it, looks great, but hugely impractical) perhaps I'm a snob when it comes to how a case looks. But after losing two iPads and dropping and smashing a third, I'll take ugly and functional over pretty and impractical.

Holds so much!
I love this thing. Great way to organize all my gadgets. Originally bought for an overseas trip so that it would be easy to lay these things out at airport security, but I use it all the time now because it's so portable. Not only is there the strapped area, but also a pocket behind it. I can fit either my iPad2 in the OtterBox defender case or the iPad with attached Logitech keyboard in this area.In the strapped area, I put my iPad charger, Kindle paperwhite, cords for my iPad and iPhone, a tablet pen, small camera, iPad camera connection kit, and earbuds.Very easy to get things in and out, yet it holds items securely because of little silicone-like dots on the straps. No problems yet with straps getting stretch out. The velcro closure is nice, though I might have preferred a zipper. However, this gives extra room to stretch. I can fit all the above stuff in and still close it easily, which is great.

Wrap Case (10 inch) is awesome! I had been looking for a neoprene case ...
The Cocoon Innovations Grid-It! Wrap Case (10 inch) is awesome! I had been looking for a neoprene case for my iPad Air for a while now. I was pleased with this purchase. The Grid-it keeps my iPad safe and also accommodated all my accessories: portable hard drive, iPad air power chord and charger, mini USB charger and chord, 4 USB thumb drives, several stylus' and portable power pack. That's a lot of gear to harbor. The Wrap Case is a little bulky after it is wrapped up tight but it keeps everything insulated and snug without any of my gear falling out. Inside the Wrap Case there is a sleeve for your tablet and a stiff board with elastic bands that keep all your accessories tight. The stiff backing also serves as rigid protection for your tablet face. After everything is in place the "wrap" part keeps everything protected. I highly recommend this product. I will be buying additional Grid-It! products soon.

Excellent case/product.
I carry around earphones, cables, stylus, tablet and the usual tech equipment. I use it for travelling between my bedroom and the livingroom to reduce carrying a bag for everything. I will use it outside if and when needed. I love the cross crossing of the bands which are very grippy. I used a 10.1 inch tablet with a case and it fit perfectly. Now using a 9.7 inch tablet with a case and still not issue. I love that the flap over secures via velcro pads which allows for a little extra stretch when needed.I use this case everyday and very much recommend it.Hopefully the attached pictures help a little more.

Just the thing for my tecchie girl's handbag!
A tech loving girl can never have enough useful cables in her bag and this is the perfect place to store them neatly. I wouldn't call this the most stylish item and it definitely puts me in the 'geek' category, but has solved the problem of having things lying around in the bottom of my bag. How else am I going to store styluses, USB cables, spare rechargeable batteries and audio leads?? My iPad Air 2 in Apple case is a bit of a squeeze to get in but I can travel around happily, secure in the knowledge that my cables aren't going to get knotted up and my iPad has an extra layer of protection.I have found that a few small items can fall out; be sure to wrap the cover over tightly to prevent this.

Practical, simple and very effective...I like it!
I like the simplicity in the design and it seems so do a lot of people. My only gripe is the fold over flap is too short when you bulk the contents up. An iPad, cables, adapters, external battery etc and the flap covers but doesn't quite reach the velcro. Maybe I need to reposition item so it does! Maybe give more material or longer strips of velcro. However, the main reason for the purchase is to get a case where the iPad and accessories are all together and that it does very well.

A good idea spoiled by details in execution
The good: it's neat and clever, holding my miscellaneous wires and bits nicely. The bad: with an old-school iPad 2 and keyboard inside the flap needs a bit of heft to pull over and meet the velcro. A shame, that. The ugly: I rather fear the straps are starting to sag a bit after three months.

Practical product!
Bought as a gift for a pilot and he loves it! This product is so practical, as it allows you to keep a range or items such as chargers and cameras in one tidy place at easy reach. It folds away into a small compact folder which fits perfectly in the flight bag.
