The tape measure came exactly as described and it works perfectly. I love that the tape measure snaps into the bottom and you can use one hand to tighten it up and get a precise measurement. It works with the same RENPHO app that the scale uses so you can track all of your data in one place, which is so nice if you are also using the RENPHO scale. The measurement also syncs right into the app so it makes measuring your whole body quick. You can track your trends and see how your body is changing from week to week. I definitely recommend it if you’re looking to lose weight and want another way of tracking your progress other than just a number on a scale. What I didn’t expect is just how useful this tape measure would be. I bought this because I started a weight loss journey using GLP-1s after years of struggling with my weight due to PCOS and insulin resistance. In the last 3 years, my weight has fluctuated within a range from 170 lbs to 230 lbs. It constantly goes up and down and because of that, I have no idea what size clothing I wear. I have clothes that range from way too big to way too small and I have no idea what size to even buy anymore. This tape measure has been so helpful in deciding what size I should buy. I use the measurements from the app and compare to the size guide for clothing and can finally get a size that actually fits on my body. It’s so useful because sizing varies between brands and I’m able to just open the app and compare my measurements whenever I’m shopping. For that reason, this little device can be useful to everyone whether you’re losing weight or just trying to find clothes that fit you well. I didn’t expect how useful this thing would turn out to be but I’m so glad I bought it.

I thought this was very user friendly on the first use. I bought this to be a good tool for my weight loss journey and it is easy to track measurements myself with this little gadget. I already had the app for my smart scale so adding this was very easy. It seems like good quality, and I expect that I'll get more efficient with use.

Unfortunately, the accompanying app can be quite glitchy. There are times when the app refuses to connect to the tape measure, making it challenging to keep a digital record of measurements. This can be frustrating, especially when you're trying to track progress over time. Another drawback is that the app does not calculate the total inches lost. This feature would have been particularly beneficial for someone on a bariatric journey, as seeing the total inches lost can be incredibly motivating and a significant part of tracking progress. Despite these issues, the tape measure itself is a great tool. It's much easier to use than a traditional tape measure, especially for self-measurement. The ability to read measurements directly from the device is fantastic, and when the app does work, it's a great way to visualize and track your progress. This smart digital tape measure has the potential to be an excellent tool for anyone on a bariatric journey or someone looking to monitor their body changes. However, the app needs significant improvements. If the manufacturer can fix these issues, this product could be a must-have for health and fitness enthusiasts. For now, it's a helpful tool, but be prepared for some technical frustrations.

La prise de mesures devient beaucoup plus facile, surtout pour les mesures corporelles ou lorsque l'on veut suivre ses progrès (sport, couture, etc.). L’appairage avec l’application s’est fait rapidement et sans difficulté, et les données sont enregistrées automatiquement, ce qui évite d’avoir à tout noter à la main. C’est aussi très motivant pour suivre son évolution dans le temps. Works well and easy to use especially if you are doing the measurements yourself. Very accurate and the app is the biggest advantage as you don't need to jot down the figures. Plotting your progress is made even easier.
