Adjustable, absorbent, holds up in sanitary cycle! Perfect!
We have used these for two years for our now 18 1/2 year old cockapoo. Initially we only needed them for car rides. He has a bed in the backseat and shifts around a lot. He has a very small waist, both circumference and length and these work better than disposable and reusable male belly band type diapers because they do not shift up or down his torso. In the last couple of months we have needed to diaper him more often and these are our go-to diapers. I did remove the elastic around the tail hole to open it up to let him poo without removing the diaper and without making a mess inside the diaper. These diapers have help up amazingly well after MANY washes on the sanitary cycle (very hot water) and hung up to dry. They dry quickly even when traveling and they are hand washed in the sink. They do not leak, but because of his anatomy, his urine hits more at the belly elastic than at the absorbent pad. I do wish the pad extended to the top of the diaper, but even so, we are very pleased. We do use the plastic snaps on the back to make it shorter otherwise the waist would extend up to his ribs and wouldn’t stay put as well.I was nervous about how the Velcro and plastic snaps would hold up in the hot cycle washes, but I have yet to detect any wear or tear. Now that he is needing to wear them more often, I am ordering another two sets so I can have a little breathing room with laundering these, especially when traveling.

Super nice, well made and reasonable price.
These are super nice and well made. I have a toy poodle that weighs about 8 1/2 pounds. Tiny. I ordered medium and they worked well with the velcro and snaps to make them smaller. I also ordered the smaller "new born" size and they worked too. The sizes are flexible. The fabric is soft with a thick padding inside. They wash and dry very nicely. I am very happy with either size. My dog did not love wearing them at first. But she seems OK now that she is used to them. So far no leaks and her bottom seems pretty dry in the morning. I only use these at night while she sleeps.

Check every box!
We have an elderly American Pit with a greyhound body - she has an athletic build with a thin waste. She has recently started struggling with incontinence. The disposable diapers were always too small or too large and were always falling off. These reusable ones have been so wonderful, we’ve ordered 3 packs. We chose size large (she is 40 pounds for reference), and use the buttons on the back so they aren’t hanging off her bottom. When washing, we secure the Velcro and turn inside out as suggested, and lay out to dry. No problems yet with the Velcro strength, and no leakage so far. Not to mention, they’re absolutely adorable! So glad we found these and don’t have to spend more money on lackluster disposable options.

Well Made and Adjustable, But Our Dog Was Determined to Escape
I like that these diapers can be adjusted both in length and width for a better fit. Our dog, however, hated wearing them—which was expected! We used them on a camping trip, but she was able to wriggle out of them without much effort and ended up not wearing them at all during the trip. Despite that, I’m keeping them because they seem well made and durable. They might work better at home or in less confined spaces where she’s less likely to try to escape. Purchased the medium set for our 11 pound toy poodle.

Fantastic for even a cranky old lady
Highly recommend these. They're great quality and very dependable. No leakage at all and they fit great! I got a medium for my 22 lb 16 year old girl to wear overnight. Her back end is small but I sized up because she's long and I wanted more coverage. She doesn't mind them at all and typically she hates everything. They're easy to put on and stay on through the night. She doesn't even mind walking in them. Love how adjustable they are! The colors are super vibrant and cute as well.

Ok but didn't work so great for my dog
I bought these in medium and large for my 22 pound jack russell because I didn't know what size would be best. She is a long legged jack russell and medium build. Her waist is 18" around where the diapers close. Medium is the best size for her.I bought these for my dog to primarily wear at night as she only has incontinence when she's sleeping.I got the large first and I have to say the leg holes are far too big and gappy. Pee leaked out the leg holes and I woke up sleeping in pee! Not good! When I hooked the Velcro it looped all the way around leaving the ends loose and the leg holes too gapped. I ended up having to put a stitch in the leg holes to keep these from gapping.I then ordered a medium. At first I thought they were going to be too small. But I did manage to hook the Velcro just enough on both sides to fit. The leg holes were far less gappy than the large size. They do still gap a little though. I didn't have an issue of pee leaking out. However, both pairs easily slid right off her butt! They were constantly sagging and her cropped tail kept getting out of the tail hole and the tail hole ended up where it could potentially leak pee. Though I bought these for night time wear I found myself waking up all hours of the night to make sure they weren't falling down! A real pain and many lost nights sleep! Grrrr! My girl has short, slick fur and no real waist so I'm sure that played a part. I also didn't want to attach them too tight as another pair I got at a local pet store rubbed a raw spot on her tummy. So, here was my solution and it worked perfectly! Far better than these diapers if you have a dog like mine, with short, slick fur and no waist. A baby onesie. I ended up getting her a pack of 24 month onesies from Target. The brand is Just One You. I mention that because I also purchased the Carter brand in 18 month at Walmart and they were far too short!!! I then compared the Carter brand and Just One You brand and the same size in Carter was 2-3" shorter. So, if you have a dog my girls size, get the Just One You 4-pack at Target for $8.99.I also got Depends for women. I gotthe ones that hold level 5 flow. I cut one in half and I stuck it where the urine would come out inside the onesie. This worked perfectly and was the perfect size to hold what would have been a pretty big size puddle. I cut it in half because it fit better and was enough to hold the amount of urine from one round of peeing. These pads wick up all the moisture so you aren't left with having to bathe your dogs rear end every morning. As a matter of fact, even if these diapers did work for my girl and didn't slide off her rear, I would advise getting a Depends pad for women and cutting it in half and outing inside the diaper. I think it would be better because the absorbent layer inside these diapers isn't nearly as absorbent as these pads.I would advise anyone with a dog the size of mine or smaller to the onesie route of your dog has no waist. If you dog does have a waist, I would advise trying these diapers with a depends pad In them. As for the tail hole, just cut one with scissors. I didn't bother because my girl doesn't tend to have her tail up at night anyway. And that's the only time I use them. There's a pick of my girl wearing a 24 month old baby onesie.I gave these a three star because I'm sure they would work for some dogs just fine, particularly with a depends pad inside. But for my girl, the onesie with a half a depends was is perfect!
