Purchased this for hubby to hold all his Shun knife's that he is collecting. Great case to keep your knife's together & in one spot. Much better than a wooden block that can harm these knife's. If you are going to spend huge bucks on knife's, this is the way to go to keep them protected from dulling & the elements.

My first chefs bag and the quality is what you expected. Great for 8” and/or longer knifes, has lots of room and comes with accessories pockets. Very light, great for when traveling frequently and built to last. Overall happy with the purchase.

Easily fits longer than average knives without puncturing or bulging the canvas. I generally carry a wustoff iKon super slicer, a tojiro flash 10.75", an 8" shun premier, a global nakiri, an extra wide Damascus 12-in cemitar, a 12" diamond rod, a pair of narrow industrial tongs and a microplane zester. In the mesh compartment, I generally store a fine grit sharpening stone, a Leatherman, a digital meat thermometer, and a laser thermometer. It's been in packed luggage 6x, hand carried from kitchen to kitchen around multiple lodging locations around the North Slope region of Alaska. It's holding up far better than I thought it would prior to purchasing.

I bought this to replace one that I have for years and I love it. It's lightweight and easy to carry. It doesn't take up a lot of space but yet it holds all of the knives that I need with me. Compact yet sturdy! I have several of their knives as well so all and all shun is a great brand that I will keep using!

had to replace my old carrier, finally after 8 years. could not find anything like the one I had, this was closest. I like the inside zipperered, protective lining. the knife slots are a tiny bit smaller than expected, leaving me to twist and turn to get my filet knife in place. it's very thin fabric. the Velcro that keeps it bound, is very little, and I don't see how it will last very long. the carrying strap that goes from side to side, is off on it's symmetry, making it awkward to carry and hang up. we'll see how it holds up, haven't had it more than a month yet, maybe I will be surprised at it's durability. I was hoping for something tougher, but I will keep this until it wears out.

Love this for a starter knife roll. Love the Shun embroidery. Good pocket selection and a long mesh compartment inside. Perfect.
