Can humans have this ?

It looks like it is meant for Horses but other than that I do not know about it's purity or whether it has been processed in a way which is suitable for human consumption. There are extracts of Boswellia and some have guaranteed levels of 11-keto-β-boswellic acid (KBA) and 3-O-acetyl-11-keto-β-boswellic acid (AKBA) the two most beneficial components of Boswellia. None of this addresses the cause of the problems which are pathogenic micro-organisms in the digestive system which promote an Increase in Digestive Permeability. My research over the last 8 years indicates that this is the number one cause of human and it looks like animal ie Horses disease processes. This IDP causes absorption of LipoPolySaccharides in the colon which comes from gram negative cell walls. LPS are highly inflammatory and are used in research studies to promote inflammation. IDP is commonly referred to as "Leaky Gut" a term that I dislike. Do not waste your time looking for "Leaky Gut" cures because none of them work. Also L-glutamine cannot and will not fix it because it has no antimicrobial properties. Some people make a very good living out of selling such rubbish. Failing to tackle the biofilm(s) is destined for failure and will only promote resistance.....

What % of Acids does it have

Equine Synergy Boswellia contains 100% pure Boswellia Serrata resin. which will contain varying levels of Boswellic acids due to being a natural product. The composition and levels of Boswellic acids will vary depending on the conditions in which it was grown and harvested, much like forage varies in its nutrient profile. However we do regular testing of the Boswellic Acid levels so that we are aware of the range of Boswellic Acid in our product and we only purchase the most nutrient dense Boswellia. The recommendations for the use of Boswellia in horses are based on research performed using dried resin (such as we use), not on extract which is a popular alternative., Both forms contain Boswellic acids, however we feel that "mother nature" packages the Boswellic Acid in the very nutrient dense resin and therefore we prefer not to use the extract in our product, as it may exclude trace vitamins and minerals that are designed by nature to work in conjunction with the Boswellic Acid. The current recommendation based on the latest research in mammals is to feed 25mg of Boswellia dried resin per kg of the animal’s body weight. Equine Synergy Boswellia meets these requirements if you follow the dosage guidelines on the side of the package. So although it is not a concentrated extract, it meets the recommended feeding rates while also providing valuable micronutrients that may be lost if using only the extract.. Therefore, it is important to also look at the feeding rates of products, and not just the Boswellic acid concentration. What % is the boswellia acid? For horses we need at least 65% acid but from.your previous answer it looks like there isnt any. Please confirm.

If your preference is 65% Boswellic Acid, your only option is to buy Boswellia extract which is a concentrate of the acids, but contains none of the supporting vitamins, minerals and nutrients that are contained in 100% Boswellia powder. The research that involved horses was all done using the full Boswellia powder with the supporting nutrients....not Boswellia extract. And the amounts/dosage that is recommended for our Boswellia powder reflects that research, as it is higher than the dosage for Boswellia extract alone. The higher dosage is because our pure Boswellia powder (not extract) has not been heated, processed or had the Boswellic acid chemically extracted. We prefer to sell our Boswellia in the pure form that reflects the research done in horses and contains the supporting nutrients, and also has not been chemically altered or modified to intensify the level of just one micronutrient. While Boswellic acid is the active ingredient it is not the only active ingredient. All of our Boswellia Serrata powder contains high levels of Boswellic acid and our dosage reflects the amount necessary to show the results that are reported in studies on horses. how much do you give a horse 500kg?

Hi Alison, The feeding rates are on the package but I can also give them to you here. For a horse 400 to 700 kg maintenance dose is 20 grams per day (approximately 2 Tablespoons) For a horse 400 to 700 kg nutraceutical dose is 30 grams per day (aproximately 3 Tablespoons) The nutraceutical dose is appropriate for a condition that is actively painful or inflamed while the maintenance dose is appropriate for management of conditions like chronic arthritis. Miracle product for my aging dog

I bought this as was recommended for my 14 year old staffie dog who could barely walk. After only a week of 1 level teaspoon twice a day my dog now runs and jumps and is once again loving life. Asked my vet first before buying this product he said wouldn't do any harm so decided to try due to excellent reviews. Outer packet is press seal packaging but doesn't work very well. Powder is inside another bag inside outer packet. Very fine powder smells quite strong but pony didn't seem to mind and ate it all. Mixed into small amount of molasses free feed with small amount of water.

It works!

Definitely feel that this Boswelia helped my 26 yr old cob. He'd become quite "flat" and pottery and within a week or two, we could see a difference. My vet actually recommended it too
