In its price range, Norwegian Gold has the best stats I could find in its amount of Omegas, purity, effective enteric coating and dose size (one large soft gel instead of two soft gel serving sizes offered by some competitors). I'm not sure why it's not more popular. I like to take a capsule in the morning before I exercise before breakfast, which makes me think of the aging fisherman in the Old Man and the Sea. Note- it's important to store in a place that does not become overly warm or it starts to smell.

I've been taking these for at least two years for the Omega health benefits. As an added (surprise) benefit, it's helped keep my joints from stiffening too much. I love that there's no smell, aftertaste or fish-burps when I take them. Yes, they are a tad expensive, but they are high-quality and don't have those annoying side effects that I've had when I was taking the less expensive, lower quality brand. This is the only brand that I turn to for those ever-important omegas.

My gynecologist recommended me this product. He says this Norwegian brand has very high quality standards. What I like the must is that you don't burp this caps, I have tried other brands and at the middle of the day I start burping salmon taste, very dislike full! In Mexico I was buying GNC products (Omega caps the worst burping). Eventhouogh it is more expensive than other brands, for myself in this menopause stage, its worth its value. Best price founded at the internet was in Amazon, too bad they only have one left at the moment of my purchase. I need to buy one bottle of 120 caps monthly, so I will just keep monitoring Amazon weekly in order to buy more whenever the product is in stock again.

I got this on a recommendation from a friend. I had been having severe anxiety and panic attacks. I knew fish oil could help but had bee taking Mega Red for quite a while with no improvement. I was skeptical that this could help but was willing to try, especially because it's a higher "dose" of omegas than Mega Red was. Within 2 days of starting these my panic attacks totally went away. I know some of this could be placebo effect but honestly I tried a lot of things before this and nothing helped at all. I know that Omegas can help lower HDL and haven't had my cholesterol checked since starting these a couple of months ago but overall I feel better and my body is finally healing from an injury. I don't think I can attribute everything to these but I feel better since I started them so I know it's helping on some level. These are really large though. If you have a hard time swallowing pills you may really struggle with these. The coating does slide down pretty well though. They have an orangey flavor to them and don't smell fishy. No fishy burps either. I'm sold on these for sure!

I like this product. However, the last two of 3 bottles had packaging problems where there were broken pills in the bottle, causing fish oil to coat everything. The seal was lose under the cap from the oil. All of the desicants were saturated and there was no getting around the awful fish oil smell or taste. Fix the QA on the packaging.

A great way to get the kids some of those essential vitamins that they're missing due to.... umm, appetite preferences. ;)

These are amazing! I know you are supposed to eat fish that rich in Omegas a few times a week but I really hate most seafood. I especially hate every doctor's favorite healthly fish...salmon. I've bought cheap omega gels in the past but fish burps were like being tricked into eating salmon and then being rudely reminded later! I finally decided to spend a little more and these gels are really tolerable AND I can really see a difference in my skin when I use them. My nostrils often get really dry and are almost always a little flaky. After taking these for two weeks my nose stopped flaking. When I ran out my dry nose returned. I ordered a new bottle and like magic, the flakes disappeared again. I didn't buy the gels for my skin but just my health in general. However, seeing real results has made me a believer in daily omegas. I take two a day. I took off a star because I do get one or two mild fish burps. They are nowhere near as bad as when I was taking cheaper brands and because these gels have an orange flavor this seems to mitigate the disgust-factor of fish burps.

I love the Renew Life Critical Omega. I tried a different omega fish pill by the same brand, and it was horrible. It contained peppermint oil and caused the worst burps and indigestion when taken on an empty stomach or mixed with really strong food. Then I switched to the fish gels and my body prefers this formulation. I decided to get the 120 count from amazon because it is a really good deal, and I like having a four-month supply vs. two month. The shipping was great and it arrived quickly. I like the amounts of DHA and EPA in this formulation, and it has worked really well for me. I feel that it has helped with my memory. Also, my skin has fewer breakouts and my hair is growing ridiculously fast. (Keep in mind that I also eat very clean, which is also a contributing factor.) The orange "flavor" is not strong, at all. The best thing about this one is the no burping whether taken on an empty stomach or with food.
