Bandai Hobby - Mobile Suit Gundam - #234 MS-06S Zaku II HGUC 1/144 Model Kit

I built quite a few Gundam kits when I was younger and bought this to get back into the hobby. As a fan of the original series, I like how similar this is to it's appearance in the anime, without looking too cartoonist. The build process is easy to follow but enjoyable. My only complaints are the slight struggle to articulate the lower arms and the looseness of the upper arm joints. Otherwise, it's a great build.

Super cool model kit, loved building this one

I like this one a lot! The tubing in particular really adds, and the skirt is just wonderful. However, I had a lot of trouble posing him compared to other Gunpla, he doesn't handle crouching or aiming his gun very well. So posing, for me at least, had to be done fairly generic, but still a BLAST to put together and looks great! Huge recommendation!

One didn't know it was a build kit, however that is on us thought it was an actual figure but the instructions we can't see. Not in English Side note if you want time spent with your child this yes get it. This is definitely a time to spend and build together hubby and son are enjoying the quality time together. Son was upset at first that it wasn't solid made action vs a kit but he is enjoying the time they're spending together so I changed the star to a four.

Was my second build that I've made. Another one that I would recommend for anyone that is in the hobby but might be a newbie like myself. My only really complaint for it would be the way in which the slightly angled "hand/wrist" works for the rifle that comes with it. It tended to fall out or disconnect very easily, But likely I found a pose that I like with it so it isn't a major problem anymore. Plus if one is okay with doping so you can use thin cement in order to keep it from not doing that(which I didn't do)

I’m a lifelong Gundam fan. Having enjoyed building these model kits as a kid, I bought this for my son (who also enjoys the franchise) for Christmas. He and I had a lot of fun building and posing the models. Age Recommendation: My boys are “too young” to build these models, according to the box. But I had a short conversation with them about models being more fragile than action figures, and I helped them out a little with the assembly. No problems whatsoever. Fun Tip: There are a handful of mobile apps out there that allow you to make little stop-motion videos. The models themselves are incredibly poseable, and making clips of the various mobile suits “fighting” is a blast.

Great looking model that contrasts well versus the Gundam. These snap together models make great gifts.
