Finally, no more ugly masking tape! Made in the USA! These plastic tapes make it easier for students to learn fingering positions. This neat, durable tape can be easily and accurately placed on the fingerboard of any string instrument. Each package contains 1 roll of red, 1 roll of yellow, and 1 roll of blue. INSTRUCTIONS: First, make sure the finger board is clean of dirt and oil. Cut the strips long enough to wrap around the finger board so that the two ends will overlap in the back. Next, place the tape lightly on the front of the finger board so you can easily move it to the correct tone position. Once properly placed, wrap the ends completely around. Will not harm finger board surface. Review: work well - work well Review: Perfect, thin tapes - These tapes are perfect for my violin. I appreciate that they are thinner than some others because I feel it makes fingerings more accurate and in tune. Exactly what I was looking for. The adhesive is great and doesn't leave a residue. I recommend!

Must-have training aid
When I first started playing the violin over 30 years ago, I used finger tape to build muscle memory and refine intonation. Once those two things developed, the finger tape was removed. Now, I've returned to playing after stepping away from it for nearly 25 years. Though I don't need the full set of positions, I do need some assistance, especially when shifting to 3rd and 4th position. On my violin, I placed the finger tape at 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th positions. Whereas on my husband's violin, I placed tape at the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd positions while he learns. These rolls of finger tape are more than enough for multiple instruments. They're easy to install, easy to reposition, and are the correct thickness to be near-perfect for correct intonation. This tape holds up to standard to moderate practice and is a great value for the cost.

Perfect for beginners—clear note positions, sticks well, removes cleanly
The colors are easy to distinguish, and the tape is thin enough that it doesn’t feel bulky under the fingers. Adhesion is solid once it’s pressed down, but it still removes cleanly when you’re ready to transition off tape. It also helps a lot with consistency when practicing intonation, especially during those early “why does everything sound like a goose?” weeks. Tip: make sure the fingerboard is clean and dry before applying, and take a minute to align carefully so you don’t build in bad spacing. Overall, a simple, inexpensive tool that makes early practice less frustrating and more productive.

A solid performer
A solid little product, good adhesion with easy to follow 8nstructions. A bit over priced, but it's working just fine.

Just what we needed
We teach violin lessons for beginners, and we much prefer using these tapes over the stickers that can be attached to the neck. Quality is great and easy to use.

Looks exactly how it's presented. NO MESS. Easy to apply and remove at will.
Packaged exactly what it looks like. In my honest opinion, a bit overpriced for 3 small rolls of tape. Nonetheless, the quality of the tape made up for the high price. It can be clearly seen when I practice, it was simple to apply and there are instructions that you DEFINITELY CANNOT MISS, and the adhesive was strong but not too strong to where it creates a mess. It was also easy to peel off with NO MESS. The plastic on top of the tape isn't too hard and it's not too much of a bother to have on the fingerboard. I can almost play without having to look at the fingerboard after just getting it today. One thing I must say though is that one of the rolls has this weird little strip which is like its own roll of tape, it's a bit if a bother but not enough of a bother to be mad at. Regardless of that, this was worth the payment compared to some of the other complex/messy ones. (I'll maybe update this review if I can depending on how long this tape will hold up)

I followed the instructions from the manufacturer. I am a beginner on violin. The blue colored tape appealed to me the most, so I only used the roll of blue. I used a digital tuner and a soft leaded pencil to mark the location of each 4 inch strip (on the 'A' string). Then I used the tuner to test for accuracy. I put each blue tape on, so it would overlap the other end of the tape. So far, the tapes are not moving around. I am happy and I would recommend these tapes! Thank You!

Tapes are good in quality but expensive, helpful for finger placing and practicing your instrument.. Adhesive also seems good as I have used these for 2 months now but couldn't see any shift in its place.
