Does almost everything
This is too big (although not heavy) for the cupboard so it has to sit on the work surface. However, it looks neat and I keep using it, so that does not matter. It comes with lots of attachments but no box to keep them in - I use the box that came with the old processor (which wore out!), and that does go in the cupboard.

Good domestic all rounder
Bought to replace my 45 year old kenwood multiprocessor. It does a great job. LIKES: The food processor is fast and reasonable powerful but ideally it would be 1000w. The balloon whisk does whipped cream and egg whites for mergerine really quick. The bowl capacity is large enough for most households of 4 or less. Solid clunk when locked in. The weighing scales and automatic weighing with bowl in situ is a real time saver. Just remember to use scales first if you want to add weighed ingredients to the mixing bowls weighed mixture, otherwise it's a bit of a faff. The spice mill is excellent for both fine and coarse masala mixes. The blender has made great soup and salad dressings. Finally the smoothie to go has made great mango smoothie but never having a dedicated smoothie maker before... I'll let others judge it's effectiveness. Not used the dough paddle yet.. so cannot say. DISLIKES: I think, I'll order a spare central spindle becuase if you lose that it's game over for the processor. The blender and processor handles are hollow so over time they will become dirty magnets ... Come on kenwood! What would it have cost to ensure they had solid ends! The slicer /grater blades. Two quibbles. First the hard veg slicer grater will not grate carrots. It only slices them so coleslaw or any recipe that calls for julienne or grated carrots...you need to use the grater. Swapping blades for soft grater doesn't work with carrots so Kenwood should swap back to orginal blades. Two....how much would it have cost to imprint/emboss / stamp the blades with their function to make swapping blades easier. Over time, I'll get used to which is which but hey ho kenwood - it's a small manufacturing change that makes cooking even quicker. UNKNOWN: Do not yet know how it will handle a wet grind but suspect it will be good if using the smoothie and go or the blender. Overall a good domestic blender but only time will tell if the motor will last long enough to last the rest of my cooking lifetime.. I reckon I have another 25 years left in me.

Cheap Plastic Looking. Burned first day. Please read review.
Honest/Helpful Review. Trying to be constructive. Please read. The packaging was correct but cheap looking. Worth mentioning there is no recipe book, only available online. The first feeling you get after opening the box for the first time is how cheap everything looks; everything is made of cheap plastic. But honestly, for the price you pay for all the 'additional extras', it was worth giving it a try.I did three things to test it, all recipes from Kenwood's website. Please skip to point three if you don't have much time to read.First. I chopped some potatoes. The slices were more or less fine and consistent. A bit of food got stuck on top of the circular blades (not great but not too negative either).Second. Hummus. This dish was when the issues started to happen. First, the machine is not powerful enough to make a mix creamy enough; everything had bits that were not processed correctly. I had to finish the dish with a hand blender. (What's the point of having to use another gadget if this one is not doing the job?)Third. Pizza dough. After following the online instructions and placing the machine on maximum speed (there are only two speeds), requires holding it because start to dance around the countertop. After 1 minute, the device starts to release a weird burned smell, followed by white smoke... triggering all the alarms in my house. (Machine burned after 1 day of use doing a dough? Thanks Kenwood).I would NOT recommend this Food Processor to anybody unless you want only to chop potatoes, but I'm sure you can find cheaper options if that is the only thing you will do with it.Very poorly designed/engineered.

One of the best out there in its category
It's the most amazing thing I ever bought!! Everything works well. Doesn't even make much noise. The blender blends stuff to a smooth puree very quickly. I also love the measuring functionality. It has made my life very easy!!I would have loved to have a grinding blade, one meant for grinding dry ingredients. That would have made the perfect food processor.

quite flimsy
I was disappointed with the strength of the items, the food processor is quite flimsy and hard to lock in. I fear that it may crack after a lot of use due to the force required to click it into place. Only used it twice so far so I will see how it goes!
