Excellent Product: HUGE Upgrade Over Diaper Pins
What a technology, these are a HUGE improvement over the diaper pins that were the norm in cloth diapering some 30-40 years ago. They're quick and easy to use. They are just sharp enough to hold them in place, but not enough to stab you (or your baby). I've been using them for a few weeks now, and we have yet to have a single incident where one has come loose, nor have we had any incidents where they have stuck us or our baby. We have been using them with birdseye cotton flats, typically using the Jo Fold. I can't say how well they would work with other fabric, diaper types, or folds, but they have served us really well with the setup we are using. You only really need two, and you could even get by with one, but it comes with a three-pack in the off case that you lose one. Price is great.Time will tell on the durability. I haven't had any issues, but I've only used them for a few weeks.I highly recommend these! I only wish there were more colors available; I'm not super thrilled about the available color options and it also seems strange how the there options keep two of the colors the same and only vary the one.

Easy, no-fuss closures
Essential for cloth diapering! Snappis are easy, safe, and effective to keep prefolds, flats, or no-fastener fitteds closed and snug, and 3 is the right number to have on hand. Our first set of 3 lasted about 10 months with daily use until they got brittle and some of the pull handles broke. When I ordered these replacements I actually received something different than what I ordered (different colors, but a 5 pack when I only paid for a 3 pack), but that's totally fine. If your baby is wide and outgrows the width of the Snappis you can switch to Boigos, but our average-sized 11 month old will still fit in Snappis for quite a while.

Game changer!
"Wow, cloth diapers have changed a lot since we were using them!"-- this is what all the grandparents have said. It's true, and Snappis are one of the great advancements. Forget diaper pins. You can fasten a prefold diaper (that is, one of those plain, flat square diapers) with this nifty device and with some practice you can do it one-handed!There are three plastic claws, protected by a rubbery handle, that grab onto each of the diapers corners to secure the diaper. It's easy to adjust the fastener once it's on. It's also easy to pull and release the Snappi off-- this is great when you're trying to get an especially dirty diaper off!I have caught my finger on the claws once or twice, and it hurts, but it takes some special talent to actually hurt yourself on this (and there's no reason it should hurt your baby). Much better than pins!We use these with OsoCozy prefolds and Thirsties or ProRap diaper covers.Highly recommended.

Work wonderfully well!
I have found snappis to be easy to use and I like that they hold up the middle bottom portion of the diaper as well as the two sides, compared to the boingos which I also have they are much strerchier and more flexible and are pretty much not noticeable under covers (the boingos seem pretty stiff and bulky). Only thing that would make them even better is some variety of cute colors to choose from. My older daughters like to help with diapering and always go for the sparkly gold boingos purely for looks ;) but end up using snappis as they are much easier to get a good sturdy fit. A sparkly gold snappi would beat out every bit of the competion in my house LOL.

These are great! BUY THEM!!!
I was using safety pins on my prefolds before, but these are so much better! I didn't buy snappis for a while because as everyone knows, cloth diapering is a bit expensive at first. It seemed hard to spend $10 on a fastener when I could use that money to buy a diaper cover or more prefolds. A pack of 4 cloth diapering safety pins only cost $1 at walmart and that is what I used in the beginning. They worked just fine and I got good at using them, but honestly; I was concerned that one day I'd stick my baby with them. I would always put my own hand at the point to protect my baby and that way if someone was going to get pricked - it would be me (I have pricked myself BTW - Babies are wiggly!). The problem with pins are; you really have to pull the prefold quite tight at the waist to get a good fit with your diaper. It is much more efficient to use something the pulls 3 ways (it is hard to explain - but trust me- these are way better!). Don't hesitate to buy them - They are worth it!

Great quality
I still didn't realize they'd be sharp like the boingos, but I've tried both and I much rather use these.I thought it would be sharp for a boy but I dont see that as an issue.I feelclike these are way easier to use than boingos and much better than traditional safety pins.I will be purchasing these again if I'm still not yet potty training. These say replace within 6 months and I didnt know that beforehand.I reccomend getting a bigger pack.My son plays with them too so I tend to loose stuff

Great, but hard on fabric
I got a cheaper off brand thinking I would save money and get the same effect. I was way wrong. They were horrible! I decided to bite the bullet and just get the original Snappi brand and they are much better. Easy to use, hook on immediately, hold really well. The problem I have is that the rubber (is it rubber? idk) part, the colorful part that holds the tension, seems kind of flimsy so even though they do hold, I am afraid they will break apart. The teeth are also super sharp and have torn my diapers already, rendering them unusable, and I haven't even had my baby yet. I just have a doll that I am practicing on. Good for the money and definitely easy to use, but hopefully they don't break and I will definitely have to replace some diapers I haven't even really gotten to use.Using Target brand FST $4 for 4, if that helps
