Like everyone else- I don’t usually write reviews unless a product is either life changing or completely disappointing. But this brush is a legit life changer.I have fine, elastic-y hair that I’ve bleached for years with no problem; until a bad vitamin mask over fried my hair. For 2 years I’ve been FIGHTING with my hair being constantly frizzy, tangled, ends like cotton candy mush. After a day of wind and wearing it in a messy bun- I usually have to shower to untangle it and free it all. The only time I’m able to brush my hair is when it’s wet right after a shower, or I can take hold of a section and try to soak it with water/detangler and work my way up from the ends unpleasantly brushing inch by inch.I was in love with the look of this brush as soon as I opened the box; and I inspected it closely because as I looked at it so much about it made so much sense to me, making me wonder why I’d never seen other brushes with anything similar. (Big pharma style greedy hair companies, perhaps 🤔 😑)The shape of the brush perfectly fits into the hold of your hand, plus the soft material of the bristles and their different heights/pattern seemed to be magic ingredients because for the FIRST time in YEARS I was able to brush my hair WITHOUT detangler or water. I started hesitantly, but immediately noticed nothing catching like usual. There were a few parts closer to the top of my head where I tried to go all the way across and the soft bristles didn’t actually catch my hair over the curve- but I just went at it from a different angle and got it.Even some of the harder, matted tangles at the bottom of my neck/back of my head came loose without fight- slower than other sections but BY FAR 30 minutes quicker than fighting with them by hand/comb in the shower with fistfuls of conditioner and much less stressful than brushing through them and hearing the snap snap of the tangles catching unexpectedly.The nice thing about the design is also that I could see how much hair had come out- and though it hung loosely off the sides of the brush, it was way easier to clean the brush afterwards and not have buildup. Plus all I could think was that it just released hair strands that would’ve tangled into other places or clogged my drain in the shower today. And ANOTHER plus- the soft bristles felt like a scalp massage.Seriously, do yourself the favor and get this. I’ve haven’t been this relieved or excited about my hair in 2 years since it got damaged. I don’t have to fear not being able to brush it without completely washing or wetting it anymore! I’m even more excited to use the wide toothed comb too!In conclusion, THANK YOU Lily England and for anyone reading this review- BUY THE PRETTY BRUSH/COMB! If it can help my hair, it can help anyone’s.

Wow. I really thought this was going to not work. By far the best brush I have used. I have long straight thin hair, it is knotting up since the gray growing in and making my hair more course. This brush is gentle and effective. Also easy to clean and pretty.

Very good brush! It works quite well for detangling hair, even the thick, curly kind that seems determined to wrap around itself the moment you wash it. My hair is on the long side and fine, but there’s a lot of it and it gets quite messy. It’s got a good shape to hold onto, and is a good size for most hands. It’s worth the $10 but I wouldn’t spend more than that.The only “drawback” is that it doesn’t smooth the hair the way it seems to suggest. I mean, I wasn’t expecting miracles, my hair has been frizzy and tangled all my life, but the ad seems to imply that it makes it smooth— it doesn’t, unless you’ve got straight hair. Still, deranging without ripping huge chunks of hair out is rather miraculous.I also bought one for my niece who has sensory issues and doesn’t brush her hair for anyone so her hair gets quite messy. She liked the sound the brush makes when you brush it through your hair, and it DID smooth hers quite well and didn’t pull, so bonus.I definitely recommend this brush, just don’t spend more than $10 and don’t expect miracles on very curly hair.

It works to gently and slowly take out tangles, fits comfortably in my hand, and is cute... so yes it works.If your hair tangles and knots quickly, this brush takes a while to get through them, but will get through even big knots. Good brush, just not for my needs.

This combo is beautiful, but most importantly, the brush quickly and easily detangles my wet, long, thick hair. For me, combing out my hair after washing has been an unpleasant chore. This brush makes detangling my long, thick hair a breeze. The shape of the brush fits perfectly and comfortably in my hand. I have bought one of these for my sister, daughter, and granddaughter, who have all fallen in love with this brush. Where has this been my whole life? I highly recommend for any hair type. Also, just can't believe how beautiful this set is! These brushes come in the most gorgeous colors, but this set was perfect for my daughter, as she also wanted a comb just like this, wide-tooth with no tail to get in the way. The quality is exemplary.

UPDATE*** Seller contacted me after my review and were very professional in wanting to find a solution on how to make my purchase a better experience. I agreed to try another one of their brushes instead of getting a refund. The new brush that I received is the in the curl selection - the curl detangler. And the brush is fantastic.The handle is long enough to where you can hold the brush comfortably and the bristles are softer than the first brush which I believe made a big difference. My daughter didn’t complain while brushing her hair and said it’s her new favorite brush.Thank you lily england!Product doesn’t work as described. Definitely not a gentle detangling brush. Hard to get my daughters knots out of her hair and it’s painful as it pulls her hair trying to get it through. Brush is very awkward to hold…The handle is too small. I’ve used another detangling brush that was less painful and more effective getting out the knots. Aside from that the colors are fun
