Leak-B-Gone 45030 Plumbing PVC Pipe Leak Repair Rings 1-1/2" - Pack of 10

I bought this to fix a leak in a place that would be hard to remove and replace the piping. it was unsuccessful and I still have a leak. The glue that held a joint together had to be shaved off to attempt to get a flush fitting with this.it seems to need absolutely perfect joint with no excess glue in order to work.

I needed to install 3. 2 broke when installing. They work ok. The first delivery also had the incorrect size delivered.

I bought this to repair a leak on the pvc drain connection of a bathtub drain.. this little peice saved ne tons of work as the leak was in between floors and there was no room to cut and instsll a new peice without pulling the tub. I used a lot of primer and alot of glue making sure that it got into any leak site. I wiggled and pushed this lityle miracle into place and waited 24 hours before i tried the drain again. Not a leak in sight!! Thanks!!!

Waste of money. Once primer then glue are applied, they DO NOT fit around pipe.

Although a bit pricey for the part received, they work. This was simple to install, went on and clicked together without an issue and sealed the leaked saving me hours of work cutting out a drain junction that included the 2-story vent pipe. I highly recommend this product. Even for the DIY guy.

Impossible to actually hook the open ends together around the pipe being fixed, even using pliers which start to tear the plastic.. Without being able to hook the ends of the ring, it will separate off the pipe and so leak-not-b-gone. Now using this product with a screw clamp around the outside of this ring with long setting cement to see if that works, after two days, still looks okay. Pretty expensive product and the white started yellowing on the rings in the bag that were evidently sitting in the sun somewhere.

Work reasonable at best. Sealed one leak but it is an effort to get around the pipe with pvc glue.

I haven’t used the rings yet but I just received the bag. It was cut opened and retaped. The quantity should have been ten rings, but the seller removed three rings. How ridiculous, do they think people can’t count:(I know now why there were less than 10 rings. The purchaser tried to use several rings and none worked. I did attempt to use this product shortly after writing my initial review. It doesn’t work. You cannot close the ring unless the pipe is in a location you have 360 degree access. Save your money and don’t purchase this product.
