Handmade Wooden Buttons, 150 Pieces, Natural, 2 Holes - Perfect for Sewing & Crafting Decorations (15/20/25mm)

I bought these because I buy these sorts of buttons loose from my local haberdashery, and these were not only much cheaper but also come in one of those handy plastic containers that stack so nicely ( I have mine standing in their side like a book and just pop a label on the spine so I know what I am looking for, with everything from jewellery findings to place markers for knitting &crochet to teddy eyeballs and now buttons) This box closes using a hinge and latch system and contains three sizes of wooden buttons, each engraved with the words " handmade with love" and a little heart, to and bottom of the right side facing face of the button. There are two central horizontal holes per button, each a good size so that even the smallest could fit embroidery silk, not just cotton, I would say the smallest would take 4ply yarn, the largest button has holes that would take a DK yarn. The colour of the buttons is a light cream colour, the engraving is a brown colour, possibly done by scorching the wood, but unlike other scorched wood items I gave seen, the writing is very neat and exactly the same across all buttons so I might be wrong, it may be a different way they engrave the words and hearts but they are uniformly neat and tidy. I use this kind of wooden button for baby items, as they are completely smooth and so not likely to splinter when chewed ( I have some toggles I had hoped to use but the holes of the toggles were rough and splintery already making them unsuitable for baby items in my opinion). The front of the button has a lip and inside is a concave towards the holes. The backs of the buttons are plain, again very smooth but only slight convex, very slight, almost completely flat. There are 150 buttons in total in the case, I assume 50 of each if the three sizes. It arrives with all the buttons sorted by size across 20 cubes inside the case. The cubes are made using the standard interlocking cross bar system most of these boxes have so should you wish to change the number and size of the boxes inside the case you can simply remove ( slide up and out) some of the cross bars to get fewer but bigger cubes ( it will make sense when you see it , I simply cannot think of the correct words to describe this). These are well made and excellent value for the amount of buttons and handy storage box. The three sizes are very useful and I attach them to my handmade items.

My delivery arrived on time and well packed - though without the otherwise often ridiculous amounts of packaging materials and cardboard. The buttons are high quality and as gorgeous as they look online (as you can see in the pic, they finished the bandana for my daughter's dog to perfection) - and the handy little box they arrived in will eventually come in useful for many other things. A great buy all round :-) Would certainly recommend!

The size are as advertised and the look great and feel good too. Excellent value for money and I have bought these before, intact these are my third set and yes I will be buying more and would highly recommend to anyone looking for buttons of this size. Added bonus they come in a storage box too. Very very pleased
