No, it does not dispense hot water. It dispenses cold with either manually or auto-fill, and ice cubes or crushed ice.

How do you pay to have this installed?

the only install is connecting a 1/4 SS water line that you can easily pick up at Home Depot. Two nuts on the end to tighten with a crescent wrench. Not to to install! You have to take out the box to get in through a 36" door, but the delivery guys took care of that and placed in kitchen.
