I want to be like the girl in the picture. If i wear these while crossing rail road tracks, will these block out the annoying sound of the train?

Trains are really unpredictable. Even in the middle of a forest two rails can appear out of nowhere, and a 1.5-mile fully loaded coal drag, heading east out of the low-sulfur mines of the PRB, will be right on your ass the next moment. I was doing laundry in my basement, and I tripped over a metal bar that wasn't there the moment before. I looked down: "Rail? WTF?" and then I saw concrete sleepers underneath and heard the rumbling. Deafening railroad horn. I dumped my wife's pants, unfolded, and dove behind the water heater. It was a double-stacked Z train, headed east towards the fast single track of the BNSF Emporia Sub (Flint Hills). Majestic as hell: 75 mph, 6 units, distributed power: 4 ES44DC's pulling, and 2 Dash-9's pushing, all in run 8. Whole house smelled like diesel for a couple of hours! Fact is, there is no way to discern which path a train will take, so you really have to be watchful. If only there were some way of knowing the routes trains travel; maybe some sort of marks on the ground, like twin iron bars running along the paths trains take. You could look for trains when you encounter the iron bars on the ground, and avoid these sorts of collisions. But such a measure would be extremely expensive. And how would one enforce a rule keeping the trains on those paths?

The answer in physics to your question is that sound travels through denser matter (like bone tissue in your jaw) faster than lesser dense matter (like outside when a car drives by, the sound travels through the matter of air). When a person chews food with any type of headphones in, it’s virtually impossible from a physics standpoint to cancel that sound because the earbuds cancel out sounds from outside the body only almost exactly at the pivot point between the larger mass of the skull and jaw; both being dense matter. This cancelation of outside-the-body sound basically creates a megaphone for all other sources of sound within the body since the body is exponentially more dense in matter than the matter in air; especially in this case since the pivot point of pure bone is between the skull and jaw exactly where our ears are located. The type of noise cancellation Tozo is referring to is sound carried through the matter in the air we breathe outside of our bodies.

Why does earbud in case lose battery? If I just use the left one the right one will say low battery even though it hasn’t been used and had a full ch.

It has nothing to do with cleaning or earwax because mine came that way right out of the box! I charged the case and earbuds but both earbuds would still say low battery. I tried them out but never got to actually use and I was really disappointed because these buds had the best ANC I've tried and trust me I've tried many do to noisy neighbors. I was thinking of buying another pair because of anc but since it seems to be an issue for others, I'm moving on.

Is there a way to switch anc mode off without turning transparent mode on, or is transparent mode just the absence of anc?
