Frog Prince Flip the Flap —Fun for Kids
This Frog Prince is a cute flip the flap book and is one version of the Frog Prince I chose for my daughter's first-grade classroom. When children can see many versions of the same tale it adds to their understanding of story and character development. Plus, they have the enjoyment of hearing the story and seeing the many different illustrations. It encourages them to create their own stories and drawings. I loved it. Very creative and the kids will love it.

Simplified Version With Lift The Flap Appeal
This retelling simplifies the classic story for the youngest readers (being read to). The princess is effectively portrayed as unlikable due to her negative behaviors. The transformation from playing with the frog because her parents made her, to playing the frog because she enjoys it was a little thin, but my children didn't question it. The characters are young children, so the story skips the traditional getting married ending. My children love lifting the flaps in this book.

a big hit
My 22 month old niece lives in Vancouver, and on a recent trip I took 7 new books out for her & her weary parents who knew all of the current books off by heart. This one was by far her favourite and we read it over & over again. She loved lifting the flaps and loved the "froggy". Bright & colourful, cheerful & with a good positive message for children, we loved it!

For a playgroup
One child had requested a copy of this story. Although I wasnt going to buy this publishers copy, as it was a bit more money than I wanted to spend, I couldn't find the other publisher I wanted and opted for this as we already have several stories in this range. The children love the story and the "Lift the flaps" part makes it more interesting for small groups of younger children too.

Fantastic story
I love this series of books. The text is just right for a three year old girl who is into princesses in a big way. The illustrations are bold and bright.
