Does what it is supposed to do.
This is an update after I bought more 70mm 11 blade EDFs with the 2300kv motor. I measured the thrust and really got the 2.2 Kg specified. I measured the efflux velocity and it pegs my meter at 30 m/s at 1/2 throttle, so I figure 60 m/s full throttle which is about 170 MPH. Not bad. You do need good batteries - the peak current draw I saw was ~60 amps, but I didn't have it set up to capture the max reading so that number is rough. I was a little skeptical that this fan was going to perform the way I wanted it to, but the cost was below my pain point so I thought I would give it a chance. I was very surprised when I fired it up with the included speed controller I ordered. The fan was balanced and fairly silent and it put out a ton of thrust. I built a test stand to work on it and at half throttle it started pulling the stand off the table. I haven't run it through it's paces yet so I can't comment on it's longevity, but so far it works very well and is well worth the cost. I believe this EDF is an excellent value and I have only two small negative comments: The connectors on the provided speed control were 4mm and the motor connectors were 3mm so I had to solder together some adapters, but it was a ten minute setback; the second is that the wires are loose and unprotected where they transition from the motor to the outside of the fan. I put some heat shrink over them and tried to line them up with the direction of the airflow to lower drag. Neither of my negative comments are enough for me to lower the overall score of this EDF because it does what I need it to do at a reasonable price and I am very happy with it.

Fit
Nice finish perfect fit on my old plane. I only had to take the cone part off, which is removable on this fan. Great option.

Most Bang for the Buck
The PowerFun 70mm 11 blade fan with 3400kV motor is my favorite fan for my flat jets, both single engine and twin engine. They are factory balanced, they sound great, and they deliver the stated thrust. In my opinion, they provide the most bang for the buck

High performance
I got the 4S version, has more than enough power with a 2200 or 3200 mah airplane

Good EDF, some concerns.
I found Powerfun to produce a quality product after using their 50mm 4s EDF. Bought one of these and was impressed by the price to power ratio. It does run well on 6S as far as my testing has gone. Two concerns: - I ended up purchasing two because the first had a strange rattle coming from the mounting hub when spinning manually. The second one seemed better but after running it by the ESC, the same sound is now present. - At the power rating of 80A, 3.5mm bullet connectors arnt large enough and may be why I cant get more current drawn than 55 amps.

Terrific Fan, but one of the ESC's connectors are too loose
Bought 2 of these. The fans are AMAZING. They scream! One problem I have is that one of the ESCs came with connectors that are too large for the EDF fan, so the fan can't connect to that ESC. Can you help? Picture of the problematic ESC attached. Updated: We ended up stuffing some strands of electrical wires in there, then electrial tapped the 2 connectors together. Now it works like a charm!

Awesome Sound, Power and Reliability
I was a little skeptical at first, that this 70mm EDF could deliver the power needed to drive my 4.5 lb scratch built jet, but I was very pleasantly surprised. It responds instantly, has great power and it sounds like a gas turbine. I have had many flights with this jet and have not been disappointed. You can't go wrong with this product. If all of Powerfun's products are as good as this one, I have no need to shop elsewhere. You can't beat the price nor the quality of this EDF.

Bad mamajama!
WICKED! Best description I can give, from first out of box to ease of install, balanced perfectly, gona f power . I installed in an old edf MiG 15 and it’s night and day difference between the stock 70mm system and this upgrade. Highly recommended! Make sure you have high C rated batteries to keep up she draws 75-80 amps WOT! But the speed and power is definitely worth it 10 stars!!!!
